He couldn't help his fins wiggling happily at that, even though it hurt. He pulled Dave closer, pushing his laptop to the side and rolling to lie on his side and hold Dave close. "I really do love you."

"I'm not completely helpless Dave, I can take a bit of walking around." He rolled his eyes, sighing but a like relived at the same time. "What do you wanna do then?" He thought for a second. "Wanna see those tattoo designs I drew up for you? If you're still interested in one of course."

"At least it'll stop me from seizing up." He moved off his bed, heading over to his desk to pull out the folder full with random bits of paper. From there he took out a few pieces, holding them out to Dave. "A few. I didn't really know what you'd like. Some are of little bits of the bigger one, just little details and close ups." The biggest one was of a koi swimming through water lilies and would be over the shoulders and down the spine a little. There was another one of a melting clock that could be done on the arm or the back and drops ended up as little music notes. That one was more of a mockery, something he didn't think Dave would want but he liked drawing it. "I couldn't really remember what you wanted done, so I just did those. I can draw them up again but better if you give me some more ideas."

"They're fucking perfect." He said right away, snatching the drawings to take a good look at them, a wide smile on his face. "Look at that fucking fish. That's a beautiful fish. That fish has better genes than I do. I want them both on me forever."

"I can modify them, and they would look different on skin so I'll start doing latex molds so I can show you. But the fish one," he grabbed a pencil and a spare piece of paper, doing a quick really rough sketch of a back, "would start along the backs of your shoulders, and go down in a sort of triangle-y way. Not a full triangle, but it would taper off."

"Do you know that watercolour effect some tattoos have to them? It would be neat if that one was like that. I probably have to go somewhere else to get it coloured though, huh." He shrugs, still liking the idea. "Sounds good. How big would it be?"

Eridan nodded, looking down at the drawings again. "Yeah. I could probably do them with a heap of practice, but most tattoo establishments prefer to colour ones that they know have been done by their company or another acreditted one. I can probably find one for you though if you're still set on me doing these for you?"

He gestured for Dave to turn around so he could get at his back. He raised his hand to touch at a point on his spine at just above the middle of his back. He traced a line up to the middle of his shoulder and across to the other shoulder. "About that. That's what I would recommend at least."

He nods. "I still want you to make them." It was definitely he wanted to brag about, his boyfriend making his tattoos. And if they ever did break up, the fact that he made them isn't going to change the fact that he likes the tattoos.

He turns around, closing his eyes to get a better feel for how big it was going to be. "Sounds good, big enough for plenty of detail too." He smiles. "Can't wait."

He smiled a little, fins wiggling happily. "I don't know how long it'll take me to practice the design and everything. If you want it done sooner as opposed to later you can take it to a professional place." He kissed Dave's shoulder, smiling.
