Eridan was more awake by the time he'd come back, but hadn't move from his spot. He'd simply rolled onto his stomach and watching the fish tank through half closed eyes. He'd finally gotten around to buying curtains for it.

He smiled at him, fin flicking at his voice. Which hurt and he winced, raising a hand to rub at it despite it being bandaged up. It felt really weird, having a bandaged fin, and it was rather uncomfortable, but it was better than redoing the stitches. "Hey yourself. Sleep well?"

He nods, leaning lower to nuzzle his hair. "Yeah, pretty well, how about you? Also I brought us breakfast, you hungry?"

"Eh. So so. Wounds are not very good sleep-helpers." He tilted his head to be able to kiss him, smiling softly. "I guess. Something small though. I'm not too hungry."

He kisses his forehead as he sets the doughnuts next to Eridan, along with the milk boxes. "Well, hopefully this will make you feel better. I have a while until I have to go to class."

He hummed softly, pushing himself up to sit. Ne scratched at his fin again, grumbling under his breath about annoying bandages. "Doughnuts for breakfast? Wow, i'm unhealthy."

"Arent we all. Enjoy yourself." He opened the packet of doughnuts to get one to himself, and poked the straw through his kid box of chocolate milk. Chocolate milk has no age limit.

Eridan tugged at Dave's arm, attempting to get him to cuddle with him in bed while they had their unhealthy as fuck breakfast. It tasted good though, so he really wasn't complaining.

"Yes. I didn't get cuddles earlier because I was a piece of shit to you and that loss weighs heavily on ones mind." He shifted until he was comfortable, head on Dave's shoulder.

"Hey, none of that. Just cuddles." He mutters as he kisses his cheeks. Once he was done with that, he wrapped his arm around Eridan. "Sorry for... freaking out with a just cause. And for being a bitch."

"Dork." Eridan bumped him gently, smiling happily. Only one fin gave a wiggle, since the other was bandaged up and couldn't really move much. Eridan swatted him on the stomach for biting his doughnut, rolling his eyes and shifting so that he could finish it in peace.

Dave snickered, though it was muffled due to having a mouthful of doughnut. He nuzzled Eridan's hair, placing a kiss there before going back to eating too.

He got through another two doughnuts before leaving the rest for Dave. "What are you doing today?" He was curious, and because he probably wouldn't be doing anything except lazing around and being in pain.

"Just wondering." Eridan contemplated going for a shower, but remembered that it required taking off bandages and shit and he really couldn't be bothered.

But a shower would be nice right now.

So he sighed, pushing himself to stand. "'M just gonna go shower."

"Yeah, please." He slid from the bed, stretching his arms above his head as he made his way to the bathroom. Taking off the bandages hurt (especially his fin) but being in the shower hurt more.

Dave finished eating while Eridan was in the shower, and cleaned everything up, though he left the doughnuts there with two their chocolate milk boxes just for Eridan. He might want to eat more later.

Eridan will probably finish them off later for lunch. About ten mintues later he shut off the water, stepping out and carefully drying himself with a towel and wrapping it around his waist before reaching for the first aid kit. He could handle the wounds on his legs, and called for Dave once he was done with those and had pulled on some clean sweatpants.
