"'M sorry I made you mad." He apologises again, voice soft right before he yawns again. He's tired and achy and in pain, but Dave is a comforting warmth by his side, and soon he's asleep.

He's not too sure what time it is, but he's hungry as hell when he wakes and he can hear the steady 'beep beep beep' of the fish feed timer going off, so it must be after eight. He feels groggy, sleep-heavy and sore.

Eridan hushes him sleepily, stumbling out of bed and going to the fish first to shut off that annoying beeping. They all bubbled at him quite irritatedly, saying theyve been waiting for their food for a while now. Eridan just tells them to shut up and feeds them all so he can go back to sleep.

Dave occupies Eridan's warm spot on the bed while he's up, wrapping himself in blankets and covering his head with them.

He contemplates food for all of five seconds before turning around and climbing back into bed. Screw it. He'll just eat in the morning. He cuddles back up to Dave, shifting and moving to get comfortable.

"Fish feeding timer. Sorry." He kisses his cheek, already back on his way to falling asleep. "Go t' sleep Dave." Eridan nuzzled his cheek, holding him close.

He ended up with his face pressed to Dave's hair, and one arm curled around him. He should really take a panadol or something, but the thought of getting up and going to go find it was far too much effort and probably painful.

Eridan followed soon after, shifting occasionally to take the weight of the bruises and scrapes that he was lying on. He slept pretty well for most of the night, only waking up a few hours before dawn with an aching fin and really sore body.

Dave was still all cuddled up to him when he woke up, a bit of drool now on Eridan's shoulder, but hey, that's life. You can't have it all buddy. At least Dave doesn't snore.

Eridan was on his back with his eyes closed and trying not to move. The scrape on his horn had been pressing against the pillow, and it hurt like hell. Gave him a pounding heache as well.

He blinked lazily, and groaned softly as he reached into his jacket to check the time. He sighs in relief, and then just sits up, trying not to wake Eridan up.

Eridan decided that trying to get back to sleep was an utterly useless idea, but lying in bed sounded much more appealing than getting up and walking around. So he simply curled up on his side, hugging a pillow to his chest and squinting at Dave's back as he walked out.

He gave up on the idea of cooking a good two minutes after he tried to remember how to make pancakes, so he just went out to buy doughnuts and chocolate milk. He came back ten minutes later, going back to check if Eridan was up
