He nodded, making sure there was soap and a wash cloth in the shower before setting Dave on his feet and stepping out again. He left to go have a quick rinse with the cold water shower up in the cockpit, but not before giving him a quick kiss.

Eridan was shivering a bit after his shower, seeing as the breeze was a bit cold. He hurried back down into the cabin to towel himself off, and get some clothes and a towel for Dave, which he placed outside the door, within reach.

"Eridan!" He called out, already grabbing the body wash. "Come in here, I need physical support." He didn't "need" it, but he wanted it. By which he means cuddles

Eridan grinned a little, opening the door and sliding in behidn him. There was enough room for them to have a bit of space between them, but not a whole lot. He wrapped his arms around his waist, his body cold from his earlier rinse.

He yelped once he felt how cold he was, immediately, spinning them so that Eridan was under the hot water.

Eridan yanked his arms back once Dave yelped, looking at him in confusion as he was shoved under the hot water. He relaxed a little, slowly warming up under the heat.

He touched his stomach with his hand after a while, looking focused, and then hugged him snug against his chest once he warmed up.

Eridan just looked confused, but gladly cuddled close once he was hugged. "... You okay?"

"You were in this shower and I wanted to clean up. Sorry, I wasn't expecting to be cuddled so soon." He nuzzled his hair, huffing.

He nods, nuzzling his chest, and then letting his cheek squish against it. "You must always be prepared for a hidden attack of cuddles. This was in your training, cadet, what the fuck." He said playfully.

Eridan rolled his eyes, kissing his forehead. "My apologies sir, I was a bit distracted." He raised a hand to comb through Dave's wet hair, pressing another kiss to his forehead.

After a bit he turned off the water and handed Dave his towel.

"I don't want this to repeat itself, understand?" He gets on the tip of his toes to peck his lips.

Once the water was turned off, he thanked Eridan for the towel, and started drying himself.

"Yessir." He grins, fins giving a little wiggle as he smiles.

He left his towel up in the cockpit so he just drip dried, seeing as the other towels on the boat were kept in a cupboard he couldn't reach without getting the floor wet, which he didn't particularly want to do.

Dave rose a brow when he noticed that, and just passed Eridan the towel after he was mostly dry.

Eridan took it and quickly dried himself. He wasn't completely dry, seeing as Dave's towel was damp, but he was dry enough to go grab himself a towel and dry properly before putting on clothes. "It's going to be a bit windy today. What do you wanna do?"
