He pulled himself to sit in Dave's lap, nosing at his jaw and cheek with a smile. "I know. I love you too." He cupped his cheeks with his hands, tilting his face forward so that he could kiss Dave's forehead.

Grinning, it was his time to nuzzle Eridan's neck now, followed by his collarbone. "Where did you learn how to cuddle people like that you cuddle machine."

"Well, seeing as the only living thing I've ever cuddle in my life was my lusus when he let me, and you, my plushies are the source of all my cuddling prowess." He grinned, kissing his forehead again and resting his own there for a bit.

"I'm very believable. If i wasn't, how are you hugging me?" He grinned, nuzzling his hair and letting himself relax almost completely against dave.

"I am, thanking you for pointing it out." He shifted a little so that he was sitting more sideways in his lap and could stretch out and still be in reach to nuzzle at his jaw. "You love me for it though."

His fins gave a lazy wiggle and he grinned, sucking at his bottom lip for a moment before letting go just to kiss him. "Good."

Dave nuzzled his cheek with a smile, now mostly warm. "Still cold?"

"A little. But i'll be fine." He kissed the crook of his jaw. "You hungry? Tired? D'you want me to move?"

Eridan nodded, pulling the blanket a little closer to him as he rested his head on Dave's shoulder, forehead to the side of his neck.

He ended up purring gently, eyes closed for now and fully relaxed against Dave.

He hugged Eridan snug against his chest, and started trying to fall asleep since he was too lazy to go to bed.

"We should go t'bed. S'comfy there." Despite his words, he cuddled closer to Dave, not really wanting to move.

Eridan decided that if they slept were they were they were both going to end up with horrible back and neck crinks.

So he forced himself up out of Dave's lap (ugh why did he do that? Such a bad idea) and stumbled to the back cabin to flop onto the blankets.

Dave whined, but immediately stumbled after him, a blanket wrapped around him like a cape.

When he flopped down, he curled up against Eridan, and shared the still warm blanket.
