Eridan laughed, nuzzling his hair. Cronus just grinned. "Do you want another song?"

Eridan shrugged, "I guess I Could sing one more song." He secretly enjoyed singing when he got into it, just not beforehand.

"Hm" This was going to be hard. After some consideration, he found his answer. "Your favourite song."

Eridan rolled his eyes and turned to Cronus. "You pick then."

Cronus chewed at his lip. "There's an old sea shanty? You know which one I'm talking about."

"That haunting one?"

"The haunting one."

"Lovely." He nods, and turns the camera back on without having Eridan notice it. "Sing me all the songs."

Eridan rolled his eyes, stepping back from Dave to stand near Cronus again, unknowingly getting back into frame. Cronus started this time, his voice low and almost eerie. This song was old, coming from way beneath the waves and not in any language spoken today. It was old seatongue, and they both knew it almost fluently. Eridan joined in soon enough, his voice the perfect pitch to send shivers down spines.

If Dave didn't have a boyfriend he loves dearly, he could probably be swooned by Cronus's voice. But when Eridan joins him, he completely ignores that thought and just thinks of what an amazing boyfriend he has, because holy shit, boy can sing too.

He's the luckiest motherfucker on earth.

Their voices blende so well together, raising and falling and sounding so haunting. It was a song about two seadwellers separated by the sea and their family, who always kept them apart. They stayed in contact by singing to each other from their trapped prisons, always declaring their love and hope to keep the other alive.

The song ends with just Eridan singing by himself, lonely and almost sad, because one lover died from heartsickness, and the other continues to sing for them until they themselves perish.
