Eridan didn't really see the weirdness of cuddling underwater, seeing as he was a seadweller, and he was quite happy to pepper the back of Dave's neck with little kisses as the fish swam around them.

A little fish eventually came very close to Dave's face, and he crossed his eyes and stuck out his tongue to scare it.

Cue very affronted fish swearing. Eridan actually lifted his head to glare at it for it's rude language. Who'd've thought fish could swear? Damn.

Eridan huffed at them, blowing bubbles and flicking his fins. "They're swearing at you Dave."

"They're being extremely rude. I didn't know fish could swear like that." The fish ended up swimming off, still bubbling about whatever and Eridan stuck his tongue out as well. "Assholes."

He shrugged. "You're extremely offended for someone that got offended by some fish." He teases, poking his cheek with a small smile.

Dave hugged him around his waist, and pouted when he realised he couldn't kiss him. "Man, the no kiss policy that comes with the mask is totally bogus."

Eridan laughed softly, nuzzling his neck a little and pressing kisses there. "There there Dave. S'alright, you can kiss me later."

He hummed in content, leaning into those. "But I need to get my smooches on right now Eridan, my life is at risk. My love life." He clearly didn't mean it.

"Oh your love life? Why didn't you say so?" He raised a brow, looping his arms around Dave's waist and kicked off the seafloor. It was still raining when they broke through the surface and he grinned at him, fins wiggling. "Always wanted a kiss in the rain."

He blinked when Eridan started swimming upwards, the words getting stuck in his throat when he tried to refuse.

When they broke past the surface he smiled wide, quickly taking off the mask and pulling him into a kiss

Eridan happily kissed Dave, arms around his waist as he kept him afloat with smooth kicks. He tilted his head into the kiss a little, fins wiggling happily as he kneaded gently at his sides.
