He nodded, holding Dave a little closer as they swam along. There were a whole bunch of shells on the seafloor, and he picked up a few as they swam along to show Dave before dropping them again.

Eridan held onto a few shells that he liked, squeezing Dave's hand every so often. They ended up coming across a school of pale fish that freaked out at the sight of him.

Eridan merely laughed at the fish, baring his teeth at them as they swam away. They kept swimming along, going a bit deeper now and going over some coral.

Eridan wrapped an arm around his waist, kissing his hair because he couldn't kiss his face. He took them above the coral a bit so they could swim easier.

"It is. I love it. It's so peaceful and calm." He smiled, pointing out a bunch of fish swimming around the brain coral.

They ended up floating down to rest on a sand bar just past the coral. Eridan closed his eyes, breathing in deep and smiling. The deep deep blue of the ocean stretched out before them, and they could just see little dots of rain hitting the water above them as a shower went over.

He looks pretty amazed to see how rain looks underwater, or at the very least very pleased. "It's really nice." He mutters to himself.

"It's really odd as well. Inverted raindrops." Eridan let himself drop back to lie on the sand, gills closing for a bit until the sand settled again.

"No you wont." He kissed his shoulder this time, squeezing his hand. "I can go find a dolphin or even a turtle and see if I can speak with them and get them to stay with you? Or even get something heavy like a rock?"

Eridan didn't care, and pulled Dave onto his lap to cuddle. Another group of fish swam past, and Eridan kissed the back of Dave's neck as he held him close.
