Dave is clearly holding back a grin, -or at least it would be apparent to the trained eye-, being more than happy to hear that. It was better than the compliments that he got at the bars, that were usually about his body and face and not his music. Damn, why is it that the second he steps into the DJ booth he is suddenly hotter than hell in all of those people's eyes? "I try to break a bit out of the general mix formula, but you'll still hear some that are pretty bar-like. Ill send them today still, after modifying the bass for you."

Eridan smiled, head tilted slightly and fins fluttering. "Thanks, I need some new music to listen to. An' I can see that smile Dave, no one else can see you drop the cool kid an' grin you nutter."

He glanced at the time, before looking back at him. "I'm heading out for food, probably at the chippy along the shore here, do you want to come with me? I can drop you back at yours after if you walked here."

Eridan grinned and followed him up the stairs after grabbing the keys resting on the fridge. He checked to make sure all the witches were off or in neutral before pulling the wood cover over the stairway and sliding the plastic door up before locking it.

Jumping down onto the pontoon, he looked up at Dave, waiting for him. "Ready?"

Unless you feel like enjoying the drabness of the equivalent dusk beach full of lazy people an' overenthusiastic joggers?" He grinned, teasing as they headed out of the marina.

Eridan nodded and turned to accept the coke and the lemon lime bitters bundaberg handed over the counter to him. "It's $8.90 all up. We'll split it." He dug change out of his back pocket and placed it on the counter, gesturing for Dave to do the same and handed him the coke.

"I eat here when I'm hungry an' can't be bothered being hungry on the drive home. So, a lot." He grinned slightly and gestured for then to stand out of the way.

He put his part on the counter, and then put his wallet away next to his phone, doing as he asked so that they wouldn't be in the way. "You sail a lot too huh. Well that's a stupid thing to ask, of course you do." Dave rolled his eyes at himself. "Sabriel looks great, so you obviously do. The people here know you though, so like, is this a normal thing you do? Chat up employees and invite them to sail with you?" He smirked

He nodded. "Yep. I sail when I can. It's why I'm so eager for this bloody week to end so I can go. I haven't been for nearly a month an' a half." He sounded exasperated at that, annoyed about the lack of sailing going on.

"They know me only by face an' what I order from them. Most don't even know my name, many at the marina call me angry fish man. An' besides, these employees don't make good coffee or are any good company."

He has a little shit look on his face as he nodded, leaning against a nearby wall. "Swimmingly? Really?" He shook his head in a disapproving manner, smiling all along. "You dork.
