"You're lucky you're cute." He scooped him up again, glancing at the dishes briefly before heading to his room. He set Dave down on the blankets, kissing his forehead. "Give me a second and then I'm all yours." He quickly ducked back out to put the dishes in the kitchen and the leftover chili in a plastic reheatable tub and put into the fridge.

He was back with Dave a few minutes later.

He smirked, headbutting him very gently. "Thanks, I'm aware."

He nods, just getting comfortable on the bed, without opening his eyes, and by the time he's back, Dave has just passed the fuck out.

He had to smile at the sight of him, grabbing for his phone to take a photo because he just couldn't miss the opportunity to have another photo of Dave being adorable and asleep. He put his phone to the side afterwards, crawling under the covers and gently gathering Dave to his chest to cuddle.

Dave stirred a bit in his sleep, but just cuddled up to him, his hands pressed against Eridan's chest for now.

He nuzzled his hair, gently sliding a hand under his shirt to keep his hand on his skin. He kissed his forehead softly, settling down for now.

He slept like a baby, not koala-ing around him as usual, having just balled up against his chest for warmth.

He'd grabbed for more blankets as the night went on, sort if making a pile of them around and over them both.

Dave only really woke up when his alarm went off, kinda startled, but just groaned and reached to turn it off, cuddling closer to him.

He hadn't slept, not even dozed, just laid there cuddling Dave and absently watching the other wall. He twitched when his alarm went off, brows raising as he realised he'd spent the entire night pondering.

He nuzzled his jaw after a bit, kissing it softly, as he mumbled something that should probably sound like "good morning."

"Morning. Did you sleep well?" He kissed his forehead, tucking the blankets a little close around them both.

He nodded, raising a brow a little. He didn't sound tired. "...did you not sleep?"

He shrugged, deciding against answering that. He was still wearing Dave's hoodie, and was now comfortably warm.

His eyebrows knit together, and he sighed. "You could have just moved me, you didn't have to stay here all night." He still didn't understand why he did that.

He shrugged again, tucking his head under his chin and humming a little. "It's comforting, lying here with you. I'm fine Dave." It was easier to face bad dreams if the hurt object of the bad dream was alive and warm in your arms.

He sighs a little, kissing his forehead. "If you say so. As long as you didn't want to do something else instead, I guess that's fine." He wraps his arms around Eridan, kissing the top of his head.

"I would've just washed up the dishes in the kitchen. Nothing too important." He was going to do that this morning anyway. He nuzzled his chest, closing his eyes and sighing a little. "You ready for today?"

"Not really... but I kinda have to." He sighs, nuzzling his hair. "Got work in the morning, then off to the park for fun times."

"I'll come in for coffee towards the end of your shift. We can go straight to the park afterwards then." He wasn't looking forward to today at all, but it had to be done.

He nods, petting his hair slowly. "Sounds like a plan. We can catch some lunch on the way to the park, like, a burrito or something.

He hummed in agreement, though in hindsight he'd probably be too anxious over it to eat much. "Speaking of food, what do you want for breakfast?"

He hummed in thought at the question. For once, he kinda wanted to eat breakfast here. "How about I go make some scrambled eggs and like, pancakes, and you stay in bed?"

"Why am I staying in bed? What if I want to cook? Besides I have to get up to go clean up the dishes and stuff from last night." That did sound like a good food choice though.

He laughs a little, shrugging. "Cus you already do all the cooking, I was just offering. But if you want to cook, that's chill." He tilts his chin up to get a peck.

"I wanna cook." He smiled a little into the peck, pressing closer for a proper full kiss. "So, scrambled eggs and pancakes?" He shifted to go out of the bed, stretching once he was standing and glancing back at Dave.
