I stood there for a moment before hugging him tightly. There really wasn't anything left to do in this situation other than to be quiet.

I wasn't sure how to feel about this. Something about her hugging me with Terezi's body felt weird. Not really in a bad way, though. Slowly, after some consideration, I raised my shaky hands from my knees and hugged her back. I began silently crying again. ....dammit.

This felt good. To get it out, even if it would still be there, and to someone who wouldn't make fun of me for it. Probably. Of all the things I could now do as a human, I thought this was one of the few that really set them apart. Simple, heartfelt comfort. That doesn't mean I stopped, though. I couldn't, until either it all dried up or she left entirely. I was finally beginning to wish she wouldn't.

I stood there, keeping the hug up as he cried. Yeah, this isn't what I had in mind when I took over, but that wasn't my choice. I stood there and waited patiently for him. No, I wasn't rushing him through this. That'd be mean.

There were signs, so finding it was a fairly simple matter. I climbed the steps to the concrete-lined roof. I couldn't see the stars for all the city lights, but the lights themselves more than made up for it. There was a breeze, and I stood by the edge with my arms outstretched and eyes closed, pretending it was ruffling my wing feathers as I soared over the silhouetted skyline.

I followed Seculus slowly. It seemed he knew exactly where he going. Once on the roof, I looked around and inhaled. Ah yes, the old smells of my home. I guess you could say that I missed this place. " Be careful." I warned as I walked closer towards him. "I don't think I'm able to save you if you fall."

If I zoned out, I could almost pretend I still had my wings. This wasn't the best place for that, though, so I settled for the breeze blowing through my already messy hair. Slowly, I lowered my arms, letting it blow through my fingers as well.
