....ha. Ha ha ha....what? "....but I'm...." No real use in denying it, she'd just counteract his denial. He still felt it wasn't true though, I mean, she didn't deserve someone like him, especially when she got her hopes up about things he wasn't. It made him feel guilty that he couldn't be as perfect as she made him out to be.

Oh, don't worry dear, I would never let him do that. He didn't say anything, but instead leaned forward and hugged her. He wasn't even asleep this time. If it wouldn't have been so embarrassing, he would have said 'Yeah. You make me whole.' Unfortunately, I would remain the only one to be graced by those adorably romantic/mushy words.

She didn't need words. Not now. Her arms slowly interlocked around the back of his neck as she hugged him in return. Slowly, she rested her head on his shoulder, seeing if there was any hesitation on his end as she did it.

There wasn't. Mostly because he actually /was/ asleep at this point. Not my fault, I swear. The close proximity combined with, well, feelings, was just too much for him. I kept the hug going, though, mainly so he wouldn't fall into her and crack both their heads on the sidewalk. Oh God, please wake up quickly darling, I don't want to be killed at the hands of your girlfriend. Hopefully she wouldn't notice and I could fake a sleeping spell in a less potentially harmful location. Like not standing up.

Sure enough, she didn't notice. You're really lucky, kid. Though, she maintained the hug as well. To her, the quiet was all she needed. Only the sound of the piano was heard, along with their breathing. That and, Tassek's heartbeat, but that was because it was a vampire thing. But, she wanted to keep her mind off that.

Fortunately, it woke darling up, and he pulled away from her in confusion to look up at the sky, hair plastered over his face. "What just....did I...woah."

Terezi immediately pulled away. At this point water had soaked both of them. "Shit." She reacted from the coldness. Yeah, she couldn't get cold, but it didn't feel nice to have cold water suddenly thrown onto you like you need to wake the fuck up.
