"AH HELL NO. NO ONE WOULD PAY YOU TO LOOK AFTER ANYONE'S KIDS. ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU LIKE DOING THIS TO THEM." I grabbed her and kissed her. No fucking way I was letting her go down with ship.

He kissed me again. Now /this/ wasn't fair. Let go! I wasn't done. I broke it after a few seconds. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO STARTED THIS!"

"..." Nope. You're not getting that sanctification of knowing.

"KNEW IT." The silence spoke for her.

What. "I-.... You-..... We-." I couldn't even form a sentence.

I grinned and she began to go fuzzy. "YOU WORK ON FINISHING THOSE SENTENCES WITH SOMETHING POSITIVE. AND." I pointed at her. "YOU HAD BETTER STILL BE AROUND NEXT TIME I COME HERE, DOLL, OR I'M KILLING WHOEVER'S RESPONSIBLE MYSELF."

I laughed. "Not if I kill them first." He faded.

Tassek was at work and quite tired after traversing half the city with Anndrea in their attempts to track down their respective significant others. If they were even still that. The two hadn't exactly left on a good note. He was worrying this problem over in his head as he put books away, and it showed on his face. The third day was almost over. They must already be losing it. Hell, he was even worried for birdbrain, to the extent that he almost wasn't pissed that the guy'd run off his girlfriend. Almost.

Ah, the library. A place where she could think. Not that she couldn't study at home, of course, but she needed some alone time. Her friend was wonderful and all, but sometimes she needed her space from him. She sat at one of the tables, her face in a text book. Ugh, why did classes go for /this/ long. She just wanted to be out and play in the snow. Even if it was the big city, she was sure her and her best friend could build a snowman in the park or something.
A male passed her, putting books on a shelf. Well, he looks stressed. More stressed than one should be if they were in school. Wait, he looked familiar. Ah, that's right. He was in her psychology class. She stood up.
"If there was anyone here who has problems here today, it's you." Rayne spoke quietly once he moved some books out of the way to see her face. Her chin rested on the metal shelf, her pentagram earrings making soft noises as they collided with the metal. "What's on your mind? You look like you need a strangers advice."

He jumped. HOLY SHIT. Wait, she was in his psychology class. Why was she talking to him? "Don't do that. On my mind? Why do you care?" he snapped. So he wasn't in the most trusting of moods right now. Besides, she wouldn't believe him. Even taking out the whole vampires and angels issue, his varied group of roommates made no sense out of context.

She raised both her eyebrows. Wow. Someone upset him. "Why do I care? Because you look like any second you're about to cry, scream, or murder someone. Possibly in that order. You're in psychology class, so I'm pretty sure you know what happens when people find serial killers." She moved from behind the shelf to next to him. Her platform boots giving her some advantage over him.

He sighed and put down the stack of books. "I'm not gonna kill anybody. Probably. Fine. Two of my roommates disappeared, they're both slowly dying, and they both hate me." There. That was a straightforward explanation. Maybe she'd either be satisfied and leave him alone or think he was crazy and run.

"Roomates huh?" Wow, it was really warm in here. She removed her leather jacket and adjusted her black scarf slightly. Better not draw attention to that. "Well if they're dying, they don't hate you, they're just acting out of impulse. I can guarantee that. How long have they been missing?"
2015-07-04 03:57:43 -
🌀
Dammit, that didn't work at all. Why'd she keep her scarf on? Weird. "No, pretty sure they hate me. Three days now."
2015-07-04 04:02:29 -
●
"Oh? And what makes you so sure of that? As for being missing, it's New York City, someone is bound to have spot them. If not now, soon."
2015-07-04 04:05:30 -
🌀
"Because one of them probably already did and the other basically said it to my face. Doubt it. They can't really go anywhere. Unless somebody watched them get to wherever they're hiding, I have a big problem."
2015-07-04 04:08:54 -
●
"Ah. I see. I must say it really does suck for you. Well, for one thing is that it's dangerous to be on the streets at night, so I doubt they would stay there." She knew that for one reason in particular, but he didn't need to know why. He wouldn't believe her and well...he might become concerned for her safety if he did.
2015-07-04 04:14:55 -
🌀
"Not for these two. Especially if they stuck together." It definitely would be for anyone else, but he couldn't explain why. He'd decided to drop the species issue from the beginning. Had they just stayed on the streets instead of going to someone else? Crap, if they had, that just increased the problem tenfold.
2015-07-04 04:19:48 -
●
"And why is this?" Was one of them armed or something? Maybe she could ask her friend if he had seen them.
2015-07-04 04:21:02 -

"Nah, you wouldn't believe me if I told you."
