Her gaze went back to him right before his arms were wrapped around her. She gasped in sudden surprise. This was....okay? This was okay. Slowly, but surely, she returned the hug back to him. "...It's okay?" She whispered back to him, almost sounding like she needed confirmation to do this.

He didn't say anything either for a moment, but more because he wasn't sure if he should. Eventually he gave in, releasing her and straightening up. "You do not have to be afraid to touch me if you want to. Even if you refuse to bite me, if you need to talk, I am completely willing to listen..." He smiled just a little at her, trying to give a comforting expression.

I jolted awake from the fire dream to see Terezi. I still felt like shit, but it didn't seem to matter anymore. She was hugging me? I stared at her, some kind of intangible buzzing in my hears dulling my thoughts.

Seculus jolted awake, and Terezi slightly tightened her embrace on him. "Are you alright?" She asked calmly. "You were burning up again... and were whimpering. Did you have a bad dream or something?"
