Eridan didn't fall asleep until a few hours after Dave. He had ended up getting out of bed (carefully without waking Dave) to go brush his teeth real quick before sliding back in beside him. He was asleep not long after that, cuddled up happily to Dave.

Dave didn't even notice the lack of Eridan while he was brushing his teeth, and when he came back, it didn't take long for koala-ing to take place again.

In the morning, he woke up not with his alarm, but with a message. He didn't even open his eyes though, wanting to stay asleep

Eridan ended up sleeping just as long as Dave did, and when he felt him stir he merely mumbled in his sleep and tightened his grip a little. He wasn't quite ready to wake up yet, and was still mostly asleep.

Definitely fuck those, Eridan was content to cuddle close to Dave and sleep for as long as he could. Which was probably only one more hour but whatever. Except Dave's phone kept vibrating, and it was started to wake him up. How rude.

Eridan was falling back asleep now that the phone had stopped going off, and he simple cuddled Dave closer.

However, the other end of the line held someone far more asshole-y.

"It'th me. I need to talk with you. Like civilithed people not an unfair fight. Where do you live? Look, I'm even athking nithely inthtead of jutht athking your brother or jutht trathing your phone. How polite of me."

He groaned again, cuddling up to Eridan. "I just woke up, I'm with Eridan. What do you want." He muttered, more tired than angry, in all honesty. "Can't we talk about it over the phone? Or later? Yeah, preferably later."

He hung up as soon as he could, not even saying goodbye, and snaked his arms around Eridan's torso to properly cuddle up to him, sighing in relief that he had shut up.

Unfortunately for Dave, Eridan woke up properly about twenty minutes after Dave fell back asleep. He managed to get himself out of Dav's grip and head for the bathroom, intent on having a shower.

Dave didn't really notice it at first, but after a couple of minutes, he whined, and started looking for the warmth he lost, only to not find anything and start waking up again. God damnit.

Eridan felt like he was half asleep still in the shower, but he knew that he had to be up around now anyway, because he had a class in a few hours. And if he didn't get up now he wouldn't get up at all.

He ended up being lazy in bed for a good ten minutes before he finally got up and put on Eridan's clothes, because that's literally his only source of motivation to get the hell up. He doesn't have classes, or work in the morning, but he does have a troll to put up with in a bit.

He was out soon enough, heading to the kitchen after getting changed and sharing a few kisses with Dave. He didn't really want to go to his class, but he knew that it was an important one for an upcoming exam, so he had to go.

Dave wanted to cling to him and keep kissing him, but he couldn't, so he followed him to the kitchen instead. He grabbed some AJ for himself and searched the pantry for something sweet to eat with it.

He wondered what Sollux would think of his piercing.
