He rose a brow as he saw the bandage, but associated it with the tattoo on his shoulder right away.

He smiles wider, pressing the lightest of kisses to his hair.

He huffed again as the movement of Dave kissing him shifted his chest. He lifted a hand drowsily, ending up pressing his palm sleep-weak to his neck and just resting there. He wasn't quite awake, but he wasn't asleep no more.

His eyebrows shot up when Eridan stirs, because gods forbid he doesn't sleep a ton.

He does his best to stay still after that.

He was more awake than asleep now, and registered the heartbeat under his cheek and the feeling of a pulse under his palm. He smiled a little, eyes barely open as he slowly strokes his thumb over the skin of Dave's neck.

Dave can't help but think he is adorable as he'll. The little smile on his face made him melt a little inside.

He reached for his hair to gently pet it, not being able to just watch.

He continued stroking his thumb against his neck. Each movement was lazy and slow and he stayed curled up against Dave in content. He even started purring a little again by accident when he pet his hair.

He ends up grinning, and laughs very softly. Eridan looked completely relaxed, and that was great to see.

He patted his cheek as though telling him to shut up once he heard him laughing. He dropped his hand, yawning and resettling with a smile.

"H'lo asshole." He squinted up at him, his glasses elsewhere. He pressed a little kiss to his jaw, smiling.

"Wow, rude." He rolls his eyes, smiling. Dave kissed his forehead in return. "Seems like you had a nice nap."

In reply he simply pulled the covers more around them both, smiling. He nodded a little in return to his words, yawning again.

"You're half blind." He retorted, pressing his face against his jaw for a moment before pulling away to kiss him. He continued running his hand through his hair, looking completely lazy and at ease as he smiled gently at him.

He just puffed a breath at him, fins wiggling. He smiled into the kiss, moving his other hand up as well to trace gently over the side of his face and comb trough his hair. "Not like this I'm not. Hairs not styled at all."

Dave nearly nuzzled into his hand, looking pretty happy. "You are always gorgeous. But I'm the only one that gets to see you the prettiest. Which is, right now, getting your smooches on." He kisses his forehead.
