He kissed his cheek, squeezing his hand and leading him straight to the touch tank. It's not a very busy day, so there's plenty of room between them and the small family having a look as well. "I just wanna have a look here an' then we can go sit by the seals or the otters or whatever you want, okay?"

"I'm not Ariel Dave." He smiled regardless, and following the lady behind the touch tank's instructions, reached in a gently lifted up one of the starfish. He kept a hold if it under the water, but smiled slightly as he looked down.

Dave was standing by his side, glancing down at the starfish. "How does it feel? Are they soft?"

"It feels, sorta like a squishier shell? It's got a firmer exoskeleton, but it feels sorta like wet satin?" He glanced at him, gesturing with his head for him to put his hand in as well.

He careful handed him the starfish, keeping his hand on his. He bumped his shoulder gently, not even really a bump. He smiled at him, fins wiggling a bit.

Dave laughed softly, nudging his cheek with the side of his head, and kissed it as the starfish was placed in his hands. "Wow holy shit. It's like.... actually soft." He looks down at his hands.

He smiled, looking back down at the starfish. It was moving its arms very slowly, and he grinned. "Yeah. Feels sorta like wet velvet or something, huh?" He glanced at him, smiling.

He nodded, moving his hand away once it was fully on Dave's. "It is, slowly but yeah it's moving."

It was a bit of an odd experience, specially after having a bunch of fish in his hair. It was so... still. It was kinda calming. "Sweet. I dig it." He glanced at Eridan to see if he'd grab something else

Eridan was looking at one of the sea urchins. They couldn't pick them up, and the tank was mainly filled with star fish because they were the safest to pick up and touch. He glanced at Dave, smiling a bit. "Ready to continue? Where do you wanna sit?"

He nods, slowly putting the starfish down again, and pulling his hands out of the tank. He just kinda wiggled them to get most of the water off. "Umm... next to the otters."

The lady handed them so paper towels, and they dried their hands before putting the used paper towels into the bin next to the tank. He took Dave's hand again, smiling as he started off to head towards the otters.

Dave winced a little as they started walking again, his muscles having cooled off a lot since he came out of the coffee shop.

Soon they were by the benches, and he took a seat by the second row.

He saw the wince, but said nothing, only squeezed his hand as they walked along. It was cool in the park, and the otter exhibit was outside and in the sun.

He sat next to Dave, pressing a kiss to his cheek and settling to watch the otters. There were a few in there. Two were playing in the water bit of their enclosure and the other one was sleeping in the sun.

Once he sat down, Dave leaned back a little, eyes going to the otters. "That one is already my favourite." Dave points at the sleeping one.

"Because it's asleep?" He grinned, his arm around Dave's shoulders merely so that he could run his fingers through his hair at a leisurely pace.

He laughed softly, pressing a kiss to his temple. "Well I think those two have the better idea." He nodded to the two swimming.

He smiled, pressing his lips to his temple for a long kiss before just going back to watching the otters. He kept combing a hand through his hair, relaxing against the seat.

Dave nuzzled the crook of his neck, resting like that while he watched the otters. "They look like wet dogs but rounder and with less wet-dog smell."
