"I don't wanna sleep." He protested, because he wanted to spend time with Dave and the kitten, but as soon as the kitten finished eating she curled up on his chest and fell asleep, and he felt like he was close to doing the same.

Eridan sighed, and shifted until he had his face tucked against Dave's shoulder. He was asleep within no time, though the kitten woke up early to go climb over his shoulder.
