He squirmed a little to lace their fingers, even as his hands were pinned down. "I love you too." He smiled, and bumped their noses together

He nuzzled both cheeks, pressing little kisses on both before just resting his forehead against Dave's.

Dave relaxed a little, none of his guards up. He was completely vulnerable to Eridan right now. "Can we just cuddle?"

Eridan slowly let himself lie down over Dave. His smile had gentled to almost impossible levels now, and he pressed a featherlight kiss to his jaw. "Of course."

He sighs with a wide smile, and wraps his arms around Eridan before closing his eyes. He looked like a jolly little brat.

Eridan did not mention the smile on Dave's face for fear it change. Instead he just cuddled close, his face tucked to the side of his neck as he resettled himself more comfortably.

If humans could purr, Dave would be vibrating like a fucking motor right now. But they couldn't, so all he could do is steadily relax in his hold. "We'll go exploring in a bit." He said, excusing what they were doing before it was even questioned. "We have loads of time."

"A whole week." He nuzzled his neck, searching for the closest blanket to pull over them both. "We can go later."

Eridan's purr had started up again, and with how close they were right now, he could convince himself that Dave was purring with him.

He was completely happy once Eridan started purring, and just ran a hand up and down his back. "A whole week to ourselves." He mutters, as if he couldn't believe it just yet.

"You 'n me." He mumbled back, eyes closed now. "No trouble from anyone, no work to do." He sighed, rather happy with it all. He just hoped that he can sleep without nightmares.

Dave closes his eyes, starting to hum a tune again. Maybe he could get used to going on vacations of sorts to the island more often, since his fear of isolation wasn't as strong as before, even though it was still there.

Eridan's purring picked up a little at the sound of the tune, and he smiled against his neck. He felt more at ease here, like he could relax without fear of someone coming and catching him unguarded or without his walls up. Dave being here was just a bonus. A very, very good bonus.

Dave was a bit surprised by this, since he never heard Eridan purr more than just a bit for a few seconds. He could tell his hand was near the source of the purring, it being on his back, between his shoulder blades.

He felt a little embarrassed by how much he was purring, but found he couldn't stop it. His cheeks were a little violet with blushing, and he kept his face tucked against his neck to keep Dave from seeing.
