"S'all your fault. You made me this way. You brought out the dork." He smiled, kissing his neck and resting his head on his shoulder. If they were to go out sailing tomorrow he might need another nap, but this was far too nice right now.

Dave laughed a bit, and as always enjoying the affection. "I think your brought out the dork all by yourself, I was only here to watch." He teased yet again, running his fingers through Eridan's still styled hair.

"Nah. You influenced it as well." He nosed at his jaw, bopping Dave on those nose with his hand. He yawned, arching his back a little to stretch.

Eridan shifted to move out of his lap, running a hand through his hair. "'M gonna shower."

Dave laughed a bit harder once he felt Eridan bop him with his whole fucking hand instead of a finger. "Good god you're adorable."

He nods, stretching a little himself. "You want company in there? Or a hot wife waiting for you in bed?"

He shrugged, stumbling a little once he stood up because wow, the floor is wonky as hell. "You can if you want. But if you'd rather keep the illusion that I'm attractively put together right now and not a sleep deprived mess, I would stay here."

He was right on his feet when he saw Eridan stumble, because he just realized how dangerous it actually was to let a sleep deprived guy shower alone. "I think I'll come, get a few extra snuggles in there while getting clean." Even if he already showered.

He shrugged again, "if you're sure then. You're probably going to be hella fucking disappointed in me as soon as I step in that shower though." He didn't really want Dave to see him without the make up, but he'd find out eventually anyway.

He was still stumbling/swaying a little as he walked to the bathroom, but he was mostly stable.

He snorts, and actually rolls his eyes. "As if I'd let that happen." He mutters, pretty sure nothing could happen that made him be disappointed in Eridan. The eyebags he must have were just a fact, though Dave still didn't know how he was hiding them. He is not the sharpest guy around sometimes.

He had the shower on warm instead of freezing as he was now used to doing. Dave was the only reason for the hotter water though, the fact that it felt worlds better was nothing to Eridan. He wiped his face several times with one of the hand cloths resting on the sink, dropping it back there once all the make off was off.

His eyebags were deeper than a bloody ocean, practically violet black under his eyes and making him just look worn and almost run down.

Dave was already in the shower once Eridan was done, humming in content at the hot water on his back. Once he saw Eridan though, he suddenly decided that the other needed it far more. "Well damn, we're back to your state when I met you. Nothing new here though." He kissed the tip of his nose, making room under the water for Eridan.

"'Cept they're deeper than when I met you. I was still sleeping two hours per week when I met you." He shrugged, stepping under the hot water and sighing. He shifted to lean his head against the shower wall, twitching a little at how cold that was compared to the hot water.

I mean, I like it when people take care of me sometimes, even if I can do it." He just doesnt like them to pay for his shit. Or troubling them.
