Dave hums in both agreement and delight, and slips his leg between Eridan's just to keep himself close. Cuddling him made Dave feel safe, and loved, which was not too usual.

He raised a hand to stroke over his hair again, humming softly as they cuddled. He liked being able to hold Dave like this. There was a certain appeal to being the bigger one, the taller one, the more protecter-y one. That's not to say he didn't like being cuddled, he just liked being able to hold Dave close.

Dave was used to having that role, since most of his relationships had been very usual and with girls, but he liked the switch. He liked being the one held once in a while. Ok a lot in a while. Not to say he didn't enjoy the opposite though.

He closed his eyes again, smiling gently against his soft skin.

Dave snickered, eventually just reaching for the phone.

He picks up without knowing who it is, and hey, its Aradia.

"Yeah?"

"Hello, just called to tell you that Feferi is not too happy about what happened to Sollux. She isn't doing anything about it, since you're a human, and is mostly angry at Sollux, but you're better off keeping yourself on your toes."

"Alright, ill keep my toes on their toes. Thats all?"

'Yes, and Sollux is now having trouble with his psionics, so you peobably did something to his brain."

He deadpanned. Shit. "Well, nothing he hasn't done to other people, so it's pretty whatever."

It was loud enough that Eridan could pick up on what they were saying. He huffed a little laugh at the point of Sollux having trouble, holding Dave a little closer.

"Just tell 'em to tell him not to use them for like. A week and it'll be fine. They went over psionic preventing injuries in fucking prerequisitory school for wrigglers. Fucker probably didn't show up."

And if that didn't work for Sollux, who cares?
