He nuzzled his jaw, relaxed comfortably against him and closing his eyes.

He was also wondering how Saturday would turn out. He hoped Rose wouldn't bring Kanaya, as that would just make things difficult. Hell, he hoped none of the trolls caught wind of what was going on, he'd be in such deep shit for even talking to them.

He realised that his... aquaintences, not-friends, whatevers, would find out about them dating.

Dave has no idea if Kanaya would show up, bug Dave is pretty confident that she'd have the decency to be there alone if she was asked to.

Dave too knew that was an inevitable thing though. Maybe they'd have to move to Spain and change their names to Juan to evade them. Not a bad idea.

He sighed softly, resting his head in Dave's shoulder now as they just hugged. Maybe, if Dave told his friends about them being together, it wont be as bad. He knew he probably wont come out of that without some form of minor or major injury. He just hoped Dave would be fine too.

Dave did offer to tell his acquaintances slash people that hate him. He still wants to do that, but Eridan told him not to, so he won't.

And he'd probably turn into a literal knight if someone tried to hurt Eridan because they were dating. Fuck that. He'll whack someone in the head with his turntables.

He remembered Dave offering, but at the time didn't want him to get in more shit. He was sort of reconsidering now. Call it the art of being afraid of other trolls.

That'd be a sight and a half to see. He nuzzled his cheek, sighing again and pulling back a little. "My ass is numb. Do you wanna relocate to the couch?"

Dave snickers a little, and moves to have his hip against the counter, now standing next to him and my between his legs. He places an arm under the back of his knees, and another one on his back. "Ready?"

"You gonna pick me up, Prince Charming?" He grinned, arms looping around his neck. He nuzzled his jaw, arms tensing a little. "Just don't drop me. And if you do, do it gently."

He dragged Eridan forwards to get him in his arms, and started walking to the living room as if he had a feather in his arms and not a fully grown Eridan. "Plus I'm the knight in shiny armour, get it right." He teased, smiling at him.

He clung a little tighter to him once he was picked up, head leaning against his shoulder as he curled up a little like it would make him easier to carry. "Being a knight doesn't necessarily mean you get to carry me about." He smiled back, fins wiggling a little.

"How well observed of you. I wouldn't've even noticed if it weren't for you." He grinned, shifting until he was straddling Dave's and nosing at his cheek. "Dork."

He laughed again, softer now as pecked his lips. His hands were pressed against his chest, sliding up to his shoulders as he leaned in close for a kiss.

He didn't want to move at all. Kissing Dave had quickly become one of his more favourite things, and if he was given the opportunity he'd do it for as long as he was allowed.

His hands were kneading gently at his shoulders as they kissed, another almost unconscious action.

"I'm gonna steal Jade,s dog and use it in defence if any of them get testy at me. And they will." He sighed, relaxing a little even as he muttered. "I'm worried about you too y'know. What if they don't take too kindly and you lose friends because of it?"

He shook his head a bit. "They've known me since I was maybe 10 or 11, I highly doubt they'll tell me to fuck off because they don't like you. Or rather, don't know you. You don't need to worry about me." He assured him. "But... they might not be the friendliest for a while."

He worried his lip with his teeth, nosing at his neck. "I don't want you getting upset over me being a defining point of sour tastes in mouths and harsh words. If they're unfriendly for a while, even to me, you're not gonna be happy. You said it yourself, last week or so, you don't want me receiving the harsh brunt of their words even though I told you I'm used to it."
