He grinned, fins wiggling. "How long were you crushing on me? Like, I know I had a sort of immense appreciation for you for a while but that's just me."

He smiled when he saw the whales as well, remembering what it felt like to hold him close and squeezed him a little where they sat. "I like it too. We were lucky to see them then." He pressed a kiss to the spot behind his ear, smiling.

"I mean, I thought you were generally attractive from the time you started talking about things you really loved, but I think it kinds settled when we slept together." It's fancier wording for "I fucking fell asleep on you sorry."

Dave sighed happily, turning his head to get a kiss. "I was also lucky to have a guide that was ready to get the fuck out of there and protect my ass."

"It was a pretty solidifying point. You weren't helping all with that fact that I found you attractive beyond means when you fell asleep on me." He grinned, glancing at the whale photo again.

"I would'a kicked a whale for you. I probably wouldn't've liked to do it but I would've. Distraction technique needed in escape plans, kicking things in the nose."

Dave felt his cheeks heat up the tiniest bit, and he nuzzled his neck merrily. "Glad to know you thought so. I.. did wake up half way through it though." He mutters.

"Shark nose kicker, now the whale edition, get them while they're hot and dorky." He grins, just looking over a couple of whale pictures.

"You did? Like, before you actually started moving and being awake awake or?" He tilted his head slightly, his own cheeks flushing a little.

He just laughed, pressing few kisses to his neck and nuzzling. "Dork." He looked at the whale pictures, humming softly.

"Yeah... I just kinda went back to sleep though, because it was comfortable, and.. it probably wouldn't happen again. Ignore me, just being your regular creep." He shrugs a little. "Sorry about that, if I made you uncomfortable then."

He finally reaches a picture of the shark, and grins. "Look at this cutie right here."

"Nah you didn't." he reassured. nuzzling his head. "I sort of. Like it? It was comfortable and I liked the fact that you just curled up on me and just slept. I knew it would be sort of awkward once we woke up but otherwise I didn't mind."

He smiled when he saw the shark, fins wiggling. "I wonder how it's going."

Dave snuggled up to Eridan, smiling, and relieved that he wasn't that much of a creep.

"I don't know how sharks grow, but I'll still say he's probably bigger than before and hopefully not stuck again."

"You better, because he's probably in need of one if he gets stuck again." He moves on to a picture of the caves now, and smiles as he keeps going through those. The cave was really gorgeous.

He nodded, smiling a little. It grew as they looked through the pictures of the caves. He nuzzled at his neck, resting his cheek there as they flicked through. "We should go back sometime in the near future."

"Definitely. And we should stay longer there, just chill out." He wondered if his friends have started to catch up on how much time he spends with Eridan. He reaches back to run his fingers through his hair, smiling a bit.

"Take a long time. Maybe sail around to the other islands in that area as well. Sail and swim and chill and take many photos." He smiled, pressing a kiss to the crook of his neck. He hadn't anything from any of the people he knew since the last tense encounter the week before Dave went to Washington. He wondered if they'd given up on him.

"I do say so." Putting the pictures to the side, he wraps his arms loosely around his neck, and nuzzles his cheek. Spending the night with him was always so pleasant.

He smiled at him, kissing him gently before settling back against the headboard. He was glad his latest wounds had stopped hurting completely, and were now just a slight ache in his chest.
