Rosa frowned, blocking the view between the eggs and Karkat as she did the test. The first egg, the highblood grub wasn't even fully developed, and in the next, laid the remnants of a mutant grub within the purple shell. Rosa bit her lip as she poked into the last egg, a grub laid there barely breathing. Her bat-like wings ruffled, "Karkat.." She said before he started tearing at the shell bit by bit. If she could save this one, she would, even with the help of the humans.

He perked up eyes wide and ears pinned back and quickly crawled forward letting out a worried cry and helped Rosa. Quickly, but gently picking up the grubs soon as he could, making sure the little female mutant woulf be fine. He wanted to cry so bad she could barely breath and he was suppose to get two! He cried out loudly. Wanting help.

Rosa nudged Karkat. "Quickly, follow." She said, starting to briskly make her way to the doors. The humand noticed their noises of distress and a few came running out in search of the problem.

Karkat was holding his grub so close tears just pouring down his face. He's crying out and following Rosa best he can, stumbling some as it got harder and harder to see.

Rosa stopped every now and then, chirping out and eventually putting a hand on his back and leading him into the back, demanding for Tavros. Tav came and Rosa explained the situation. The human frowned, "Karkat, let he see the grub."

Karkat was crying cradling his grub watching her and analyzing what's wrong. He can't. Too scared. Then extended his arms to let Tavros see.

Tavros took the grub, "Come with me." He said, rushing back to a room with a doctor, not wanting to separate Karkat from his newly hatched grub.

The doctors put the grub up to a breathing machine, Rosa hugged Karkat close, petting his head.
