Okay, so I've seen a few Feralstuck prompts around here, so I made one myself 'cause why not?
Here I bring you a Feralstuck! Sollux prompt. Sollux is kept in captivity for studying, he usually hides in the canopy's branches of most of the trees most of the time, only coming down when he's being fed. There are other ferals living with him, though today the scientists are brining in a new feral - [Y/C].
Looking for: Eridan, Karkat, MALE! Aradia, or Cronus as far as trolls go, though if you wanted to do a John or Dave and make them a feral, go right ahead!
I want some sort of relationship to form between them, whether it be red or black or even pale [ I can always go for some pale porn (feeling jams, cuddling, chaste kisses, etc.)]

We can work things out in OOC once you connect or you can just hit me with a response right away, either way works. A few paragraphs will do for the first response, but length can dwindle down; as long as you can give me something to work with, we should be A-OK. ]]
He's been in captivity since he was a wriggler, wings unable to help him escape. He's known the interior of his foux 'natural habitat' like the back of his hand for as long as he could remember. The humans took care of him, though he's always had an itch to get out where he /should/ be.
His name was Sollux and he was first to be shoved into captivity. He stood at about 5'7" when he stood up. He was a species of troll, a yellowblood to be exact. With a wingspan of 6 feet, he would usually fly up to the canopy and hide there for most of the day when he wasn't being fed or needed for examination. He was seven sweeps old - about 18-19 human years old. His body was covered with fine hairs, feathers only decorating his wings.
Today was no different from others so far, he sat in the canopy, watching the other trolls with a bored expression. He usually kept to himself, hence why he hid in the trees most of the time. He had even made some sort of nest up here to relax in, which was mostly a cluster of branches he had bent to his will.
"Paw-lux!" One of the trolls, Nepeta, called up to him. She was a young troll, younger than him and much too playful and energetic. "Won't you come down here?"
"Maybe later NP.." Sollux called back with a sigh.
"You always say that!" She whined.
Before he could reply, his ears flickered as he heard the door opening and heard his human - Feferi - speak, summoning the trolls. He wasted little time to move to see what she wanted. Feferi had always been here since he was brought here by her mother. He swooped down to land a few feet off to the side, looking at her curiously before he noticed the new troll standing by her side, tails flickering from side to side as the rest of the trolls arrived.
"Okay, now that everyone's here, this is [Y/C], he's new here, so if you all could make him feel at home, that would be wonderful." Feferi said with a grin. "[Y/C], why don't you say hello?"

Karkat did not seem like a social butterfly and acted like one. When she asked for him to say hello to the other inmates he just stayed quiet and ignored her. He almost seemed paranoid, well seemed really paranoid. The bags under his eyes helped give the illusion and the thought that he was scared to be here, hated to be here and he hasn't even been inside for a day.
He was small and seemed, oh so frail. Most probably thought that if you were to simply poke him he would shatter into a million pieces. He was thin, impossibly so. You could see the outline of his ribcage, sad reality of that part was he has actually been there for teeny bit longer than they knew. A week, they've been trying to feed him and help him regain an appetite, but gave up realizing he was a tough nut to fix. So they tried a different approach and had placed him with the others to see if they could build relations good enough so they could encourage him to eat.
He was small as well, very tiny. Mainly because of his blood color that was displayed to the world via his bright candy red eyes, his tail, and his hair. He had hatred and an attempted predator like look to him, which was hard to take seriously because, well he's tiny. It was obvious that he wasn't from a different laboratory as well. Scars, but not many because his dad would always take the fall for him, littered around his body. Telling the world he was not afraid to fight if needed.
He sat there giving the group of trolls an angry look as he waited for this female human to go on and leave him be to hide around this fake forest.

Feferi watched the other toll as he kept silent before she shook her head, carding a hand through her hair, keeping up a friendly attitude in front of the trolls, she didn't want to give off a hostile aura, of course. "Fine, I guess you'll just have to warm up to them." She said, giving Karkat a small pat on the head before she turned to the other trolls.
Sollux watched the troll for a moment before Feferi sighed, gaining his attention. He cared for this human in particular, sticking up for her when trolls acted hostile to her. "You can go now, and be nice." Feferi said, smiling at the trolls. Some - Most of them - scampered off to go back to what they were doing beforehand. "Oh! Sollux, stay here." She said.
The yellowblood was about to take off to the canopy again, wings spread before he was stopped. He frowned a little, folding his wings back up before he turned to the female again. She walked towards him, giving him a rub on the head before running through routine questions, checking in on the troll. His gaze kept looking to Karkat every so often, watching him.

Karkat watched everyone leave, to see where everyone's territory is. Some were obvious, such as trolls with gills or wings, but he was mainly looking at the trolls that enjoyed the dry ground more than the air or water. He was growling in a low tone to those who seemed like they wanted to come up to him and say hello. He was not the biggest fan of new people, humans, or trolls. Growing out in the messy hostile world can do a number on anyone's mind.
Once everyone was gone to their claimed territory he noticed the winged troll talking to the human girl. Having a feeling he enjoyed spending his time up in the trees, he went off. Mainly to find the sand where land and "sea" met. He growled out at any troll who even looked at him while he went on his way.
Once he found sand being heated by lamps he laid down and started to nuzzle into the sand burying his body little by little, where the fake waves kept the same rhythm of waves and tiny bits of water would soak in the sand around him. He breathed out calmly, at least trying to enjoy it. Maybe they'll let him go if he tried. Maybe.

Feferi told Sollux to keep an eye on Karkat before she let him go off, leaving the area, making sure the door was locked behind her and secured. The winged troll looked around a little before he took off to his nest-like hammock. He could see quite a bit from up here, keeping an eye on the other trolls when he could.
The humans usually used cameras to keep an eye on them when they weren't up for in-person check-ins, so where they had blind spots, they had Sollux. He was a paranoid troll sometimes, fearing the worst would happen to any of his inmates. Feferi said it was only anxiety and was working to help him through his worrying.
Laying down in his nest, he sighed and scanned what areas he could, scanning for Karkat to keep an eye on him like Feferi had asked him to. He began to wonder about the new troll. What was his story?
2017-02-19 17:28:32 -
🌀
It was actually a bit more gruesome than some would first think. Such as, Karkat was actually female turned male. In his tribe it was a lot more painful than most would first think. But stories like that are saved for later and preserved in his mind. Some stories were things he wished to not think about. Trembling with fear every time he were to think of it.
But Karkat right now, was nowhere in Sollux's vision, no matter how hard he would try to look. Karkat, being his anti-social self, was making his nest. Like before he was captured he used to live under the sand with his father and brother. They made burrows under sand, tunnels and little holes for bedrooms of sorts.
That is exactly what he was making now. Tunnels under the sand, deep under the sand so no other trolls got any ideas of coming into his home. This was his home and nobody else's, and he is working hard on it with out crying.

As soon as he noted he wasn't going to find Karkat, he sighed and just relaxed in his nest, wings cocooning himself as he just laid there. He closed his eyes, just listening to the sounds around him, sighing softly.
He laid there for a while, not asleep, just resting there, only peeking an eye open when he heard someone in the branches below him, leaning over the edge of his nest, he growled and scanned the branches before he spotted Nepeta climbing. The young troll was usually exploring and pushing boundaries, even if it meant trespassing on other troll's territory.
He just let her be, shaking his head as he laid back down, keeping an eye on her for a while.

She would soon find out quickly that Karkat was not one for someone, of any species or race, to trespass to his territory. Let's just say that once an animal had lost an eye to the angry youngling back in the day. Secretly the guy was a little softie, once you got to know him and he got to be less annoyed by you.
One of the seadweller trolls found him making his borrow. Remember the whole status thing? Oh yeah, he hates it. The troll was peering in, luckily it was one of the trolls that grew up softer and away from those status symbols. All Karkat had to do was hiss and growl out pissed off to give the message to him. The seadweller backed off quickly, maybe a few tears to be shed.
So, Karkat went back to work. He had created a large underground hallway for himself that made him smile, even just a little. His family never had much territory so this was a nice thing for him, especially considering he didn't see any trolls with sand dotting around them. Only on those who came from the sea had that.
Thus, Karkat went to work on the rooms he was sure to use. Well, holes.

Nepeta had soon reached him, the yellowblood giving a small grumble before she was resting on a nearby branch. "Hi Paw-lux." She greeted him with a grin. He merely gave a small grunt in response.
"Where'th your moirail NP?" He asked, knowing that he - Nepeta's moirail - was super protective over her. Nepeta didn't answer, instead just began pestering him about what he was up to, what he was thinking about and what he thought about the new guy.
Giving short, simple answers, he looked around again, keeping an eye out for anyone he could see. This was an everyday thing for him: Sit in his nest, watch, report to Feferi when he was needed and would repeat the process. Every. Single. Day. Yeah, not the most exciting thing, but he enjoyed it.. Somewhat.

This fourth wall breaking roleplayer was going to say that her moirail grew up out in the wild, even if he was very sheltered. Let's also say this. He got a bit curious and went to go see Karkat. To talk to him and made sure he knew his place in society. Considering we all know Equius wouldn't hurt a fly but is protective as all hell and cared so much about societies standards, let's say their first meeting wasn't the best.
Equius had over stepped his boundaries and had just entered the burrow yelling out, "Karkat are you down here?" The little feral's head came out from behind the wall in the hole he was working on with, "What the hell." Written all over his face. He eyed the other and squinted his eyes and lowered his head, a low growl coming from his throat, "Who the fuck are you and what the hell do you want?"
Lets skip the details and just say this, it led to loud growls and hisses. Which alerted seadwellers, then they had gotten others with wings to go to Sollux. Considering he had the best standing of them all with the scientists trust to keep an eye on them all, he could've been the one to break up the fight that just might start but no one knew if they would or not.

When Sollux had been alerted of the ruckus breaking out between some troll and Karkat, he had been hesitant before he made his way towards the sandy area he was directed to, keeping in the canopy, Nepeta following him from the ground. Of course something had to go wrong, he thought as he scanned the area before reaching the beach.
The trolls which had gotten him led him to the hole Karkat had made, leading into the other's hive. He kept a blank expression as he looked down into the hole, crouching down by the entrance.
"Who'th down there?" He called down, watching to see if he could spot anyone from where he was, tails twitching slightly, his guard up. Other trolls stood around, standing off to the side, watching him cautiously.

"This does not concern you lisp boy!" Karkat growled out up to the entrance, obviously not a happy camper at all. He hissed out to Equius yelling out to him, "Leave you self centered fucktrain!" He didn't know, he just want to throw out insults at the sweating blueblood.
If one were to enter they would see Karkat and Equius crouched down. For Karkat, his hair got poofier and fluffier, his tail whipped from side to side, the little scales that rested at the very top were open exposing two, sharp and deadly scales on his tail, at least a row of them, claws presented to his opponent.
Both parties of this conflict were both experienced fighters. Karkat more so than Equius. Karkat had learned to fight off males, strong and weak, before his transition. Equius was just a small challenge to him, or so it seemed. Then Equius, well, everyone knows how Equius is.

He shook his head, rolling his eyes a little at the answer he had received, frowning a little as he grumbled a sarcastic response to himself before he spoke up.
"Thort of ith if you're dithturbing other trollth." Sollux said, shaking his head a little as he looked down into the hole. "Who'th with you?" He asked then before he looked around at the other trolls, trying to see who all was there. He sat like a gargoyle, wings spread a little as he listened to the hissing and everything below him in the hole.
He tried to seem uninterested in the situation, keeping a blank expression as he looked down into the hole still, waiting for another answer to come, hoping he wouldn't have to come down there and sort things out.

Equius made the mistake of getting too close to Karkat. He didn't take it well and thought that the others intent was to attack, so he had decided to strike first. Moving to quickly latch onto the fucker's side, teeth digging in. Equius quickly pulled him off and flung him up and out of the hole.
Karkat hissed predatorily at Equius after quickly composing himself. Equius crawling out of the hole calmly but quickly resumed his stance of appeared dominance. He didn't want to hurt Karkat. He just wanted to make sure he knew his place. He had a feeling that the other might've gone through some hard shit before he was caught. He didn't want to add any pressure on the tiny mutant.

Sollux scrambled back as the trolls came out of the hole, looking at Equius before he sighed, shaking his head a little. Of course. He grumbled a little to himself about getting fed up with Equius and his bullshit about putting other's 'in their place.'
"Theriouthly EQ? Why do you have to do thith /every/ time we get a newcomer?" Sollux asked, standing up now, eyes narrowed on the blueblood.

Equius looked over and the wound on his side was soon visible, "But I had to! You know why. Especially with one like this. He's excessively violent," "You were about to fucking attack me you shit filled cum rag." Karkat growled out in response.
Of course that surprised Equius with such a choice of words. Low growls from Karkat were aimed at his direction. Sharp, pissed off, cherry red eyes were focused on Equius which soon moved to Sollux.
"Listen you pissbitch I don't need your help. So leave me the fuck alone. That goes for both of you. So don't pull this shit again," he turned to Equius, "And leave me the fuck alone." Then he made his way back into his hole to forget that shit and to continue his work.

Sollux just stood there, expression blank as he looked down at the other troll, just taking the other's words as if he hadn't said anything. He watched as Karkat went back into his hole, shaking his head a little as he sighed before looked around, the other trolls had started walking off, though Nepeta was looking over her moirail worriedly.
"NP, why don't you take him to get patched up, alright?" He said, nodding once towards the wounded troll before he started walking away from the hole Karkat had disappeared into.

Karkat grumbled and nuzzled into the sand of his room that he laid in. Snarling at nothing in particular. Just needing to blow off some steam. He clawed and kneaded the ground under him.
Simply hearing the yellow blood made him angry and he had no clue as for why. Hearing him leave was like a blessing to Karkat and he thanked whatever make there was out there that he did. He could suffer in peace now.
He refused to let the scientists see him cry but now he could with the other fuckers away. It started out as small whimpers, which turned into a few tears, which escalated quickly to full blown sobs that echoed in his little home.

Sollux took to the trees again, hiding away in the canopy, though he didn't go back to his nest. Instead, he had stuck close in the trees near the 'beach'. He wanted to keep an eye on Karkat like Feferi had told him to, and noting the wound he had left on Equius, he wanted to keep any other trolls from meeting the same fate or worse, and if it meant staking out by the trolls claimed area, so be it.
He made himself comfortable, lounging on one of the branches, just watching the hole, frowning a little when he heard the faint sound of sobbing, shaking his head a little.
2017-02-20 14:09:43 -
🌀
As time went on it grew darker in their little home. And around came feeding time. Though a little bit before hand Karkat pawed his way up and out of his hole. He had stopped crying a little bit before. Eyes still, but barely, tinted with evidence.
Karkat of course didn't fully realize what this place was like, so he never knew the no hunting policy. So he shook his body of excess sand and started to head to the artificial forest. At least now he could enjoy the hunt.
He popped his neck and headed in and started to crouch lower to the ground and made quiet steps as he sniffed the ground.

Sollux was still in the trees, close to falling asleep to the sounds around him before his ears flicked as he heard someone moving around below. He was leaning against the trunk of the tree, wings wrapped around himself before he sat up, looking down into the dark before his eyes spotted Karkat.
Curious, and bored, he stood up, starting to walk along the branches as he noted the troll walking into the forest. He wondered what the other was up to, following him from above, trying to keep as quiet as he could in the branches, he kept an eye on Karkat.
2017-02-20 14:37:07 -
🌀
It didn't seem like he was doing much. Just looking around. That was until one of the smaller and weaker trolls came into his view. He turned to them and his ears flickered sniffing the air and turned his body to them. Crouching down fully and widened his eyes to see the younglin better.
He was aiming for the young and the weak because there didn't seem to be any other species in here besides trolls. No normal fish, no squirrels, no mice, no rats, no deers, no anything.

Sollux kept an eye on the other, continuing to follow him. When the young troll came about, the winged troll took notice of Karkat's behavior. Hopping down a few layers in the trees, he got closer, not caring if the mutant troll heard him, right now, he was just worried on the younger troll.
His eyes locked on Karkat, hunching down a little as he fell silent again, ears pinned against his head.
2017-02-20 14:49:20 -

His ears flickered and he looked up and snarled at the winged troll. Daring him to even try and stand in the way of him and his food. Growling at him in a low tone. He didn't like this guy. Let's take him down a peg.
He turned his body away from the younglin and faced Sollux. Crouched down low. Growling out at him and hissing.

Sollux just stared at the other, seeming unfazed as he narrowed his eyes a little. He gave a small growl of his own, bristling a bit, wings automatically spreading a bit to make himself look bigger.
Damn troll anatomy, reacting on it's own will- For ferals at least.
