He hadn't been able to see his family in years, and the number of siblings he'd had was unbeknownst to him. It made him feel like a horrible son and brother. Last he checked, he had three, but that must've grown.

Slowly she let it sniff her hand before she gently laid a finger on its head and began to pet the kitten.

The kitten leaned into the touch, bunting against her hand. Cro tied up the horses. A moment later, the door opened, an elderly woman staring at them. "Hi mama.." Cro said as he approached her.

She continued to pet the small baby cat. Watching him reintroduce himself to his family.

His mother almost broke into tears, fussing over him and the scars on his face. He smiled, assuring her he was fine before two younger children started to come to the door, curious of who she was speaking to.

Cro explained what they were doing here, his mother looking to Kankri worriedly.

When her eyes met his mother's she looked down. She didn't feel presentable, and still very sad. Not knowing what to do if she tried to come up and talk to her.
