Hey, she was laughing. That was good, right? I returned to the couch to watch, putting my glasses back on. I could see why she found this funny as a vampire, it was completely ridiculous. I even found myself smiling a little at his accent. Not that I had any bloody right to talk.

She moved back onto the couch as well. Everything about this movie was wrong. The accent. The teeth. The dialog was terrible. It still would make Terezi giggle every now and then.

As the movie went on and the plot grew less and less climactic, I found my vision going hazy, even with my glasses on. I would blink and then find it difficult to pull my eyes back open. I couldn't move. What was going on? It made me nervous, but I wasn't aware of it happening until it was too late. I couldn't fight it. I closed my eyes once more and everything faded away.

The hell I can't, get over here and let me talk some sense into you WITH MY FISTS.

Terezi glanced over at Seculus and noticed he fell asleep. She figured he would fall asleep eventually. Carefully and quietly, Terezi retrieved the red silk blanket and placed it over Seculus. Goodnight. She turned off the movie and eased onto the couch. Maybe she should sleep as well to fix the limp? Why the hell not.

Do it! Here, I'll even take my bow off just so you can get my eyes properly.

I found myself in a strange place, nowhere in particular and fuzzy around every edge. Was this sleep? Is that what had happened? If so, I was almost disappointed. She'd said it would be pleasant, this was nothing but vaguely monotonous. I sat up and thought I heard a rustling behind me, so I looked and....no. They still weren't there. Even in my dreams, they'd been ripped from me entirely. I peered at my surroundings and could make out a figure at some distance. What on Earth?

A woman was always alone here. Well, alone with her other half, but that side never came this far out. It was where she could go to be alone.Her little piece of heaven that she hasn't been able to go to for a while now.

That is, until she noticed something in the distance.

The girl came forward, her mint green pupiless eyes focusing on the object...no wait, person. Wait, was it a person? Only one way to find out. She lifted the front of her white dress, her bare feet exposed, almost looking as if she was a bride to be from it alone, and walked a little faster. A breeze blew through her pony tail, and her hair moved with the breeze and her wings twitched slightly when the ends touched them. With her locks black highlighted with royal blue, it was almost as if her mane was the midnight sky itself. Currently, lilies were decorated in her hair, and she had a flower crown of them on top of her head.

Once she became close enough, she froze. That was a person, but it was too late to pretend to not notice them. Though, they did seem familiar. "Oh um..." Her voice was a quiet and calm as the waves of the ocean. "I didn't think anyone was out here."

As they approached, I stared open-mouthed. Another angel? Here? Where /was/ here? And she was beautiful. Just stating a bare fact. I quickly rehinged my jaw and clambered to my feet. These long limbs would really take some getting used to.

I bowed politely. Who says I can't be a gentleman? "I apologize if I interrupted your solace. I'm Seculus. Who might you be, and if you could be so kind as to tell me where I am?" I noted that my British-sounding accent was less pronounced here, but still present. It was actually starting to grow on me.

The girl was a bit taken back by the boy. Someone was showing her kindness? It was...something new. Something she really not used to. However, she did appreciate it. Even surprisingly though, he was taller than her.

"Oh no its fine. I am..." Wait, he said Seculus. That was, oh she cut herself off! " Anndrea. As for where we are, I'm not entirely sure. I consider it paradise, in my opinion. It's the calm before the storm."

The calm before the storm, hm? Well, it certainly was peaceful. If a bit dull. "A pleasure to meet you. It's very nice. What are you comparing to the storm in question?" Perhaps that was a little too forward. But I was genuinely curious.

I'd never met another angel before; it was very exciting. Did she have the same problems as myself with controlling the other side? Was she as determined to connect with reality instead of simply existing for one person? Were all female angels so gorgeous? Ehem.

Yes, that question. Hmmm. How could she explain this to him. "Well, you see. When the one you help make decisions for is a vampire, especially over a few centuries. The mind goes a little...dark, and the other side gets sort of a steroid, I guess one would call it."

One could say the same thing about Anndrea, as well. Though, Seculus wasn't exactly an angel anymore, was he? Of course it was little to know secret that she was Terezi's angel, but she was sure it would be figured out sometime soon. At least, if was smart.

That made sense, and actually explained quite a bit. I nodded thoughtfully. So if she had a vampire, and we were generally the same gender as our charges, that left Terezi, Lizzy, and Ivory, though there was always the possibility of it being one I didn't know. Lizzy hadn't been turned long enough for it to have so much of an effect, and Ivory...well. I don't think she even had an angel anymore.

Also, this girl was strangely reminiscent of Terezi. Perhaps it was her tone of voice? No, that wasn't it, but she spoke the same way somehow. It seemed impolite to point out that I'd figured this out simply for the sake of bragging rights though, especially since she wasn't exactly keeping it a secret, so I moved on from the topic. "That must be extremely difficult. I'm sorry you have to deal with something like this."

Yes, at one point she had lost Terezi to the other side for a while, but thankfully she was able to make Terezi come to her senses. Though, the threat of the other one taking over again was always a major issue, but it seemed like nothing could cause that to happen anytime soon.

But be careful not to spend too much time on impulsive self-indulgences, they'll come back to sting you." I was really just talking to myself. The entire idea of trying to talk to Terezi had been a mistake, and look where it had gotten me. Sigh.

I cocked an eyebrow and glanced to the side before I looked back at her with my ice-blue, very human eyes. Was she looking to see if anyone else was around? A little silly, if you ask me. I smiled again, not as sadly this time. "I suppose I might be waking up at any moment now. It was a pleasure to meet--" She disappeared, but instead of finding myself on Terezi's couch, my surroundings changed to that of a dark void. I stumbled backwards and into someone. Turning around, I went to apologize, and...she looked oddly familiar?
