London pulled her over to Blizzard who was at the other end. "Yes?" Ivory asked.

"So I heard from Florida."

"Yes."

"How deep have you swam in the ocean?"

"Uh..."

He noticed something out of the corner of his eye. "Oh shit, I forgot to close the window. London, could you get that?"

"Sure." London hoped out of the pool and started to scale up the wall and onto the ceiling.

I could still hear their thoughts from down here. I heard Ivory commenting on London....climbing the wall? ....don't care. I mean, their friend must have gotten up there somehow. I wonder how much of a terrible idea it is to let my wings out underwater. ...honestly, my back's kind of sore. I've been doing a lot of sleeping and it's hard to rest in a bed with them out. I spread my wings, hoping it wouldn't hurt.

A large circular ripple, almost a wave, spread out from the spot over where Madison was sitting.

The three of them looked over.

"What the hell?" Asked London.

Of course this is normal for her. Ivory's head went under, and she swam towards Madison.

....oh /shit/ that feels nice. All the weight of the water on them feels like a massage hitting every spot at once. I'm running out of air though. I noticed Ivory coming over and waved a little. Maybe thirty seconds more? ....nah, I can do better. Zane had some techniques for making his breath last.

I tugged an arm away from Ivory and put it back to hold myself up on the edge of the pool, holding my breath as I was hit with the resulting wave of water.

I stared them dead in the eye. It's weirdly nice to have the power in a situation like this. "So everyone starts off with a devil and an angel as their conscience. You know, like in cartoons? If one of them does something that's against their nature, they can get out, and get a body. Like me. If an angel puts their life in danger to save someone, they can get their wings back. Unlike me."
