....I felt special. I managed to keep the drink from spilling the whole ride home, and it left my hands, face, and heart warm.

An hour after I was dropped off, when Seculus got home from work, he immediately took my temperature and judged me halfway to a cold. I told him that the thermometer would lie because I just had a hot drink and he knows those are dirty liars anyway, just like puppets, and he judged me all the way to a cold, complete with fever, and made me lie down. Well that's disappointing. At least I get to see Ivory tonight. Thankfully this time nothing was broken. I was sprawled out on top of the blankets of my bed in a cold sweat, and I wiped my forehead with my glove, sitting up and looking around.

Ivory's sleeping body laid next to him again, this time fully clothed. She rolled over and wrapped her arms around him before she stirred awake by him sitting up. "...Hey...." She yawned.
