I'm almost gone. It's taken both of my entire legs, it's encroaching on my lungs.....I don't know, for some reason I thought I'd have figured out a way to reverse it by now. I never really expected it to get this far. I'm scared. I'm so scared. But no one could do anything about it, even if I told them. Or even if they cared to try. I sat on my sleeping bag with my knees to my chest, clattering together with each labored breath. I could faintly hear voices coming from the main room. ....it was creeping up the back of my neck, and touching my ears, might be why they were so quiet. I stared at the wall and tried not to think about what was to come as I listened to the muffled words. There was an even fainter knock on my door before it slid open. I glanced up, to my surprise.... "....Ivory?" I said quietly.
