She placed both hands on the wheel, and exhaled before gently placing her foot on the gas. Slowly but surely, the car started to move. Her eyes lit up as the car moved forward. "I did it!" She grinned, fangs exposed. She covered her mouth with both hands in excitement. "I got it to move!" Wait, keep hands on the wheel Terezi. She immediately grabbed the steering wheel and gripped it tightly.

He laughed and patted her on the back. "Good job. Think you can get it to move out of the driveway? It's just a straight line."

"I-I think so" Once again, accent slipped, and more giggling. "I apologize, I'm a little nervous." Carefully, she looked behind her, and backed the car out of the driveway.

"Perfectly fine, sugar. You're doing great." He glanced behind them for any stray pets or people, but the coast was clear. "Twist the wheel a little, see if you can get straight on the street."

When they arrived at the quiet mountainview lot, he opened the door and went to sit on the hood of the car. A little hot, but the cool night air was refreshing enough to counteract that. He beckoned Terezi to join him with his left hand, keeping the other off the hot headlight.

Terezi gracefully got out of the car. After 100 years or so of running in heels, her mobility to move in them was staring to show off. Especially today. How she made it here was a miracle on its own. She moved over to him before hoisting herself up and onto the hood.

Cale leaned back and gazed up at the stars. It was a clear, beautiful night, and the only things that could make it better would be a meteor shower and/or a kiss. The meteor shower was more likely. He did glance over at her, though. "So...whaddya think?"

A warm smile spread across her face. "It's...exactly what I pictured it as." She admitted. Her gaze went to the stars. "It's so bright and pretty. You can see every little star in the sky, it's....stupéfiant." Her french slipped once more, this time without her noticing.

She pulled away and turned to Lance, who was stepping out of his own car. "Yes, um...sorry. That was my fault." She apologized. "I asked Cale to teach me how to drive."
