The fin that wasn't bleeding twitched at his voice, and he closed his mouth slowly. He stared hard at Dave for a second before glancing back at Sollux. He glanced back at Dave, eyes hard behind his glasses and clearly not in the right mindspace.

"It's all good, I'm here." He repeated, taking a step closer to him, Aradia just wanting to get Sollux out of there as soon as Eridan had calmed down enough. If Dave wanted to risk himself, that was his problem, even though she'd step in if things got troublesome.

"He's out, Eridan he's out. Shit, I'm sorry, can you please let go of him?"

He growled as he took a step closer, teeth baring again. Dave kept coming though and he eventually let go off Sollux purely so he could edge away from him. Even with his mind blanked from the rush of 'defend-attack-defend-fight' he'd gone in, he seemed to not want to hurt him. He stood along the far wall, fingers almost curved into claws.

He glanced at Aradia, who nodded at him and waited for Dave to be next to Sollux to go fetch him, and then disappeared to go give him proper medical care.

He stopped where he was, though not planning on going away. "Do you feel alright? Can I see your cuts?"

He watched Aradia take Sollux away, before turning his attention back to Sollux. He seemed to be calming down now that the immediate threat was out of the room. Seemed to realise who was with him now. His fins drooped and he took a step further away from Dave.

Dave took off his shades, putting them on the table, and taking another single step. "I need to know you're alright, Eridan."

He took another step away from him, edging towards his room. "I need you to leave." His voice sounded slightly hoarse, probably from the snarling and growling he's been doing.

"Go away now please." He didn't look at Dave, staring a bit to his right as he took another step towards his room.

Dave pressed his lips together. "I really don't want to insist and be a pain in the ass, but just... take care of yourself, okay?" He paused a little. "I love you."

His face seemed to crumple and he took a few more steps towards his room, shaking his head a bit. "Please go away. Just. Go away. I don't wanna hurt you." He seemed to shake a bit and just looked at him.

"Is it okay if I come back later then?" He backed up a little to give him some sense of security. "When you're calmer?"

He was getting calmer now. Not fully, but enough that he realised what he'd done and that Dave was here. He took a deep breath, let it out slowly and forced himself to stay still. "I. Can fix myself up. If you'd rather... rather leave now you can. I'd rather you leave. But. You can just stay there? I can fix myself up. Gotta take the fry..." He remembered his objective for the day now that he'd come back to his mind.

He nodded, though he backed up enough to close the door. "I'd rather stay, honestly. And you can take it tomorrow, I don't think you're in a good condition to drive." He spoke in a soft voice, not wanting to startle him. He'd clean up the blood while he took care of himself.

"I can drive." He glanced at the closed door, then back at his own bedroom door, taking another step. "Needs to be done." He took another, keeping an eye on Dave before he'd gotten far enough into his room to be out of his sight and shut the door.

He absolutely could not and would not drive while Dave was here and he was nervous.

He waited for him to shut the door before start it to clean up the mess. It's always hard to get blood off the carpet, he had learned, but good thing it didn't stain it, just mostly the floor and walls.

By the time he was done, there was hot coffee waiting for Eridan, and te things were back in their place, except for the broken lamp.

He spent about ten minutes sitting in the corner of his room calming himself down. From there he assessed the problems. He attacked Sollux, Dave saw him in the midst of attacking Sollux, Dave was currently in the other room doing... something, everything hurt, and Dave had said that he loved him.

He was quite sure the last one was mostly his imagination.

It took a while to clean himself up once he started, and he had to stop a few times when the pain literally made his vision zone out.

He emerged from his room a bit later, bandaged and with hunched shoulders and wary eyes.

He was waiting by the couch, and glanced over at him once he saw Eridan, patting the spot next to himself. "Made you coffee."

He ended up standing behind the armchair across from the couch, glancing at where the mess was. "... you didn't have to clean up."

"S'fine." He glanced at the travel tank instead, fingers gripping the bottom of his shirt. "You might wanna leave before Feferi rocks up. An' she's gonna. Because I hurt him."

"I need to bring the fry to the coast." He said, glancing at the coffee, and then the armchair. "I'm fine. You can go now. Thanks for... for stopping me."
