She reached over and unpaused her movie. She didn't really think anything of it. Then again, was she well enough to think otherwise.

She kept her eyes on the movie, but felt him lean against her. Was he trying to get close to her? She was too sick to care. She rested her head on his shoulder.

...it worked! Wow. I tried not to move, and ended up staying there for the rest of the movie. That was probably the happiest hour I'd had in weeks.

He'd kept putting off thinking about what his mother had told him at Terezi's parents' wake. He only really had two options, and neither of them were very good ones. But...he'd made his decision. And he had to tell Terezi. He only had so much money, and he'd prioritized glasses over yet another new computer, since he was basically shit out of luck in the school department by this point anyways. He'd also been chewed out by, again, his mother, about Ivory. Fortunately he hadn't seen her in weeks. She didn't have a reason to show up when he no longer lived with her boyfriend, and that was a relief. Though he'd gotten an extra set for locks in case she tried the entering-and-breaking strategy again. He got to Terezi's apartment, and knocked on her door.

Ever since the whole IHOP ordeal, Terezi had been listening to Anndrea bitch about Ivory nonstop. Yes, she had a reason to at first, but now? It was getting annoying. Anndrea broke up with Seculus. She needed to move on. Currently, that was what Anndrea was doing. Complaining about the two of them. She apparently saw them holding hands as they passed by her work while on a walk or something of that nature. When there was a knock on the door, Terezi quickly jumped up and answered the door. Please save her. "Hey!" She greeted, happy to see Tassek more than over.
