Terezi couldn't believe what she was hearing. Why were these people allowed out on the streets. Then again, they said the hunters were after them, so that might explain it. Either way...what could she do? Giving herself up seemed like the only option.

There was frantic knocking, if it could even be called that, on the door. I looked up from my conversation with Ivory and frowned, getting up and going out to answer it. I'd changed shirts -- again -- as her makeup had sort of stained the one I was wearing. I opened it. ....Terezi? She looked, and sounded for that matter, terrified. I immediately grew worried. "...dear? What happened?"

In Seculus's room Ivory rose, but then remained in the doorway once she heard Terezi's voice. Well fuck. Maybe Seculus was right.
