It was way too loud when I woke up. And I was really hot. Temperature-wise, I mean, I'm always really hot. I yawned and rubbed my face, but there was a funky, puffy hat rested over it. I pulled it off to check everything out. ....the fuck is this? Did somebody from work drag me to a renaissance fair in my sleep as a practical joke? Fuck you guys. I don't even care which job it was. Fuck them all. The hat was green and red striped with a yellow feather sticking off of it. Where would you even get a yellow feather that big? I looked down. The rest of the outfit was just as hideous. Well, I mean, it wasn't /that/ bad. And it wasn't striped, thankfully. But somebody had to have /owned/ it to put me in, and that was the problem. It had the same color scheme as the hat, and it was equally puffy at the sleeves and from my hips to my knees. Speaking of my hips, there was some kind of guitar-looking instrument sitting on my lap. I stared at it blankly. Can I go home now?

I tried to get a better idea of what side of town I was on, maybe I could just walk--OW HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT IT'S BRIGHT. Some floating neon red pink THING was glowing its ass off nearby. After my retinas stopped burning, I shaded my eyes and looked back over to see if I could kill it. Then I noticed someone in front of it. And damn, she looks good in that costume. I looked down at the lute again. Pretty sure that's what it is. I can figure it out on the fly, right?

Passersby covered their ears and walked faster. I couldn't say I blamed them. I would too if i were exposed to my beautiful voice for too long.
