"You're motherfuckin' welcome, Tavbro!" Gamzee grinned. "We can always talk if you need to, I'm always here for you. Can't have you too upset, it's not good for you." Giving him a sweet look, he held him for a while, until Tavros seemed calmer. "Since we're all packed up already and everything, and you already got plans set up for tomorrow, what should we do for the rest of the day?" He got a sneaky look on his face. "You wanna sneak into the kitchen and see what magical mystery thing Karkat whipped up?"

A trip into the kitchen would take his mind off things, and he nodded, moving out of the chair as he laughed, "I hope we can catch a peek quicker than he can shoo us out," Tavros, honestly, could not imagine what Karkat had managed to whip up, but he was excited to see. And, hopefully, taste. He wandered into the kitchen quietly, wishing not to startle the cherryblood as he peered about curiously.

Karkat had his nose buried into the same book Gamzee had brought, apparently able to read the same thing a second time through without getting bored. He absently took sips of the remaining coffee, and didn't notice when Tavros wandered in, Gamzee right behind him, since he wasn't exactly facing them. The purple bent slightly to direct Tavros's vision, indicating the counter silently. There were slightly over a dozen cupcakes there, the cake a medium brown and the frosting on top a lighter brown in a simple swirl. "WHAT do you two think you are up to?" uh oh... busted.

"For shame, Karkat!" Tavros put his hands on his hips in a display of mock-anger, his nose upturned some as he tried to suppress his giggles, "And how long were you going to keep all of those wondrous cupcakes a secret from the rest of us? I thought we, uh, were all friends!"

The cherry blood looked up with some surprise. "Excuse me? How dare you turn that around on me! You scamp!" he laughed. "I know you're in here to steal one or two... go ahead, but hand me one? I haven't tried them yet. I'm sure the others will get around to it." Gamzee was thrilled, and handed him one as soon as he consented to them eating the yummy looking things. Second he handed one off to Tavros and then took one for himself."

Thanking both males kindly, Tavros bit into the cupcake with a delighted hum. The confection elevated his mood tremendously, and he chirped happily, chewing and swallowing as he licked some frosting from his upper list, "Gosh, these are glorious. You should know that I lack self control when in the presence of chocolate. It is, uh, my favorite, after all." He grinned, "It is probably good that I cannot, cook in the same manner you and Gamzee do. I would be as big as a house if I could create such yummy baked goods!"

"I like the coffee icing, too. That worked really well, Karkat, the chocolate gives it a nice sweetness."

"Shut up you two," Karkat hid his face in his book again. "...Thanks."

Gamzee turned back to Tavros. "But Tav, I'm gonna cook for you all the time! And since eventually Karkat and I will be baking together all the time, you'll live right close to where we work, and can pick up sweets anytime. So I just want you to know, when you decide to grow real tall and stuff to be house sized, I won't mind. I'll still love you," he giggled, munching on his cupcake delicately.

"Ah, I am glad! I would love to be a little taller, if at all possible. Perhaps I could be a bit more formidable, that way?" He laughed, licking a stray bit of icing from the corner of his mouth, "If only we could make all the healthy foods taste this good, yeah?" With another giggle, Tavros spotted some icing on Gamzee's lower lip. He, lacking more self control than he had thought, leaned over to lick it away, smiling somewhat bashfully and hoping that was not too brazen for them not being just alone. Slight guilt flickered across his face, and he apologized with another kiss to his cheek, "Ah, sorry, love. I could not help myself."

Karkat had NOT been paying attention and most certainly did not think that was super cute of them. No wonder the more hemophobic members of Starnette hated their relationship so.

Gamzee flushed a little at the lick, enjoying it probably a little more than he should have. Tavros was just so cute though! He laughed quietly at the apologetic kiss to his cheek; "That's okay, Tav, I don't mind none." It was tempting to dip down and kiss the brown blood a little more passionately than strictly acceptable in company, but Gamzee was able to resist. It was still something he wanted to do though, so he took Tavros's available hand and just kind of smiled and took another bite of cupcake.

Tavros, in all their intimate moments, had tried to keep things rather slow. He couldn't keep comparing his old relationships to his current one, though he had to admit, the abstinent strain, even if it was not that black and white, was starting to affect him. He longed for some kind of contact between them, and while he /did/ want to keep things a bit slow in legitimate sex, just fooling around would be fun. Being cuddly all the time was temptation enough. He took a bite of his cupcake, noticing that it looked like Gamzee wanted to kiss him, but refrained. He didn't question it, though, knowing that it wasn't polite to get too involved with your matesprit out in the open like that, so he finished up his cupcake and questioned, "What would you like to do now, 'Zee? Cuddle a bit?" He hoped his secondary suggestion was realized, as well; cuddling didn't have to be strictly hugs and close-mouthed kisses, after all.

Gamzee unhurriedly finished his cupcake as well, making a point to not to be quick and seem casual, even if the attempt was completely transparent. Nodding at the suggestion, he finished his cupcake. "Cuddling sounds good." Since they were both done with their snack, he tugged gently in the direction of the respiteblock, walking with Tavros down the hall and into the room where he closed the door gently behind them. He bent and kissed Tavros sweetly,and afterwards the purpleblood led them to the bed. Sitting on the edge, he opened his arms up to Tavros for the copper to sit next to him, or even on his lap. He didn't have a preference so long as he got cuddles and kisses from his sweet matesprit.

He sat beside him, a bright smile on his face as he looped his arms snugly around Gamzee's waist. "These are my favorite moments," Tavros purred deeply in his chest, nuzzling his cheek against Gamzee's shoulder, "All cuddled up, uh, in your arms." Tavros would not initiate any deeper kissing any time soon; he'd rather ease into it, see if he was up for it in a couple minutes just to make sure he wasn't blindly following his desires. It would, he thought, be better to take things one step at a time and think of what would feel best for the both of them instead of blindly jumping into something more involved.

The purple troll purred deeply too, quite content for the moment just to hold Tavros close. He hugged the brown blood snugly, nuzzling his hair behind his typical ribbon to try and not mess it up too much. "That's good, 'cause I love cuddling you. It feels so nice to hold you and be all affectionate." He sat there and purred and nuzzled for a while, feeling all warm and snuggley but he was still interested in a little more than just that. So after that little while he gently tilted Tavros's chin up to look at him lovingly for a moment or two before pressing their lips together tenderly, eyes closing as he did.

He purred as they kissed, the feeling not foreign in the slightest but the intention behind it was. Tavros couldn't say he wasn't thrilled - it was exciting to see this kind of initiation from Gamzee. Their lips were locked for a few moments before he pulled back, grinning from ear to ear as he peered up at him curiously, "This is enthralling," He giggled, "But I am not exactly, uh. Certain as to what you want from me, 'Zee..."

Gamzee was blushing a little, not from embarrassment, just because it was a little awkward to talk about initially. He wondered if it came off like he wanted something? He didn't know really what his actions potentially could be interpreted as, and was trying to learn but felt like he knew less and less sometimes.

"Ah. Okay," He smiled, happy to be in his matesprit's embrace to begin with, though there was a lilt of disappointment. Tavros was hoping for the next step they had briefly touched on, that being making out, but he figured that if Gamzee didn't state that that's what he wanted, it was probable that he just wanted to stick with the tamer things. He didn't mind, necessarily, as he was comfortable at going at whatever pace Gamzee wanted to.

Kissing, as defined by Gamzee, covered a spectrum which definitely included snogging, and he was certainly interested in getting there, just not sure if Tavros was up for that right away. So he started slow, dipping his head down for a kiss again and cupping Tavros's cheek as his other arm held him close. He wanted to get used to the swing of things for a minute before moving on, separating a little afterwards but keeping his face close to hint at his intentions for another and giving Tavros an eskimo kiss in the meantime. "This okay?" he asked, in a sudden instant of insecurity.

The brownblood purred into the kiss, looking mildly disappointed when it ended as he glanced up at Gamzee curiously. "Yes," He assured, his hands rubbing up and down Gamzee's sides, "You do not have to be so cautious. If I feel uncomfortable, uh, with anything, I will let you know. Similarly, if I do something that is not okay with you, you should say something," He kissed his lips, his teeth tugging playfully, though gently, at his lower lip, "Okay?"

At the nibble Gamzee let out a little sigh. "Yeah, of course." That was comforting, and he felt ready to initiate more. Purring deeply at the petting, too, he pressed their lips together again. He stayed as he had before for just a moment before opening up some, sucking gently at Tavros's upper lip before gently flicking the tip of his tongue across it.

There was another purr that left him, and Tavros was a bit surprised that Gamzee was doing so well with their kissing. He had been expecting more fumbling, but he wasn't going to complain. Smiling against his lips, Tavros opened his mouth a tad wider, his tongue coming out to scale Gamzee's lower lip in a silent request to get into his mouth. Without breaking their kiss, he turned in his arms, chest to chest with Gamzee as he sat on his knees, the perfect position to soon move either to lay down on the bed or into Gamzee's lap, whichever he preferred.

The purpleblood was a little too concentrated on kissing to make a proper decision on a position change at that moment. Opening his mouth for Tavros, he moved his tongue over the copperbloods, humming softly at the pleasurable sensation. He moved the hand that had been cupping Tavros's cheek back to around him, playing with the ends of his matesprit's hair absently. That ended up pulling him a little closer still, so at that point it was easier just to get in his lap than lay down, since Gamzee was forgetting about gravity at the moment.

As he moved into his lap, Tavros pulled back briefly for air and to gauge how Gamzee was doing. So far, so good, and he tilted his head with an inquisitive chirp, "Not too fast for you?" He asked, familiar with this realm of things and not feeling too overwhelmed as he sat in his matesprit's lap, legs on either side of him. He kept their hips apart, -no need to stress Gamzee out any more than was necessary- but they were delightfully close enough that Tavros felt they were really pushing the boundaries of their relationship. He dipped a hand down, snaking it underneath his shirt but staying just on his side, scaling his soft fingertips against Gamzee's smooth skin and against the edge of a grub scar.

Breathing gently, Gamzee shook his head. "Nah, not too fast. It's really nice," he said quietly, smiling fondly. It made him feel warm in a comfortable way to have Tavros so close; a waking up in a cozy bed and not wanting to leave sort of feeling. The touch to his skin he really liked, but the touch at the edge of the grub scar sort of surprised him. He didn't know it would feel that much different to have someone else touching his skin, and it was very pleasant. Sighing a little, Gamzee moved forward to kiss Tavros again once they'd both caught their breath.

Tavros was enjoying their intimacy more than he had anticipated. To him, it wasn't anything sexual at the moment, it was just a matter of being closer to his lover and experiencing something new with him. He liked that they were exploring together, that they were testing formerly created limits and finding a new balance between them. It was fascinating to see how far they had come, how they had gone from Tavros blushing about his bare chest to touching it gently. He thrived in the new sensations shared with Gamzee, and he smiled when their lips touched again, his mouth opening almost immediately, though he kept his tongue back some to allow Gamzee to move forward at his own pace.

He was quick to move forward, enjoying the tactility of everything. Being alone for so long he hadn't been expecting to be this interested in touch, but through all this, or maybe just because it was Tavros who he loved dearly, he was realizing he really loved touch. Even the smallest of gestures could lift his mood some, and all of this at once was heavenly. Before slipping his tongue forward to touch Tavros's again, he just barely nipped his bottom lip, running over where his teeth had been before pressing inward. Feeling the need to do something with his hands, he sort of massaged with his fingertips, lightly running up and down Tavros's back in small patterns.
