We took Ivory home. Bill didn't follow us. Madison unlocked the apartment again and I pulled her inside. I couldn't help but keep wondering what the demon had done to Bill to get him of all people that scared. This left me worried instead of empty, and I sat down on the couch with her in my lap, wrapping my arms around her. Maybe it'll bring her back....
