Jackson was back home. London was in classes. Ivory knocked on Seculus and Madison's apartment door. Why not? Everyone else was pretty much busy, and Seculus said he had her birthday gift.

When I heard the knock at the door, I quickly checked for what kind of thoughts were outside it, so if London was here too, at least I'd be prepared. ...no, just Ivory. That'll be nice. I opened the door and kissed her quickly. "It just arrived an hour ago. We didn't have any wrapping paper on hand that wasn't Christmas-themed, so sorry about that."

I let her into the living room and shut the door. Her present was sitting on the couch, hastily wrapped in two layers of snowman-patterned paper. ....I suppose it matches the theme, though. "Go right ahead."
