Cale had gone from surreptitiously spending as much time with Jackson as possible to avoiding him whenever he so much as entered the room. He was worried he might be hurting his feelings but didn't want to think about that too much. But he wanted to do..../something/ before Jackson left. He wasn't completely sure what, or he was in denial about it. But he couldn't deny what was going on in his head, or how he felt sick every time Jackson smiled at him. He found Ivory in the kitchen and stood completely silently behind her. He didn't want to talk to her or anything. No way.
