Jack found Zeus chewing on a small cardboard box in the kitchen. He played tug of war with him until he had the box in his grasp. It was a soggy mess, completely illegible, and it fell apart, leaving a plastic bottle in his hands. The label on that was peeled, wet, and smudged, too, but he did see little white tablets inside. Ohhh, candy! These must be the breath mints Edmund threw at him when he wanted him to shut up. He opened the bottle and poured some into his hand, Zeus sniffing them curiously. He popped several into his mouth and began chewing, but made a face immediately. These were /not/ mint. Jack swallowed them, choking a little on the dryness, and wandered away, putting the bottle back on the counter.

Ten minutes later, he felt hot, horny, and didn't know what to do with it. His pants button felt like it was going to pop from the pressure, and he was starting to wonder if he should give Eillie some of this candy too. He wandered around the place restlessly, Zeus trailing along at his heels.

Mysteria stepped inside Edmund's house. What? He left it unlocked. She knew he was at work, but she could surprise him when he got home. She walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.

They both whined. "No, it's right here." He checked his ear for the pink stud. ...yeah, that was still there. He didn't really take it out much anymore specifically so he wouldn't lose it again. It didn't mean as much to him as Sec's, but still, it was pretty and he came with it. "I ate Edmund's gross candy and I feel weird." He disappeared into the bedroom hallway and returned a moment later.
