My heart kept growing heavier as the ice spread. Even /Seculus/ knew straight away that I had no chance to fix it. .......I didn't mean to say that Ivory was broken. I was just...trying to apologize.... I was sort of scared to hug her now. So I don't know what the fuck I'm doing in a hot tub with her. I slumped with my face halfway under the water, breathing bubbles. I couldn't feel the heat on my half-frozen arm, so much for my last hopeful attempt at melting it the easy way. It had been a few days since we'd gotten here, and we'd all made some sort of recovery, I suppose.....the bruise was still boldly there. What did I expect, being hit by a possessed vampire?

Ivory quietly sat in the hot tub next to Madison. Right now? She felt...well, for lack of a better word, isolated. Thantos hadn't spoken or made an appearance since that day, and the small scratch under her ear hadn't grown. Maybe it was nothing? She hoped so. Still.
