She sighed, and placed her brush in water before she sat down in a rolling chair, and pulled it up to the table. "I know. I know."

"............one of them told Eilliot about what happened to Dameien.................so...........you might have him coming after you soon.......I'm /sorry/................."

"...Seculus..." She exhaled once more. "There isn't anything we can't talk out. Please, you have no reason to be sorry. It's okay."

You're annoying her. Just shut the fuck up already. I did. If I try to talk this out I'll just make her more upset. There was a clap of thunder and I shuddered, hugging my knees.

Another roar of thunder echoed the room. "Sorry for uh...for the noise. I'm on the roof right now. Everything seems ten times louder up here."

".....it's fine," I mumbled. Just say as little as possible and /maybe/ she won't hate you even more. But I'm on the phone, isn't that.....I SAID SHUT UP.

"You sure?"

I nodded, then frowned when I realized how stupid that was. "...yes."

There was a bit of silence on her end. Just the rain hitting the glass for a few moments. "...I'm sorry for making you worry like that. That wasn't right of me."
2015-10-23 05:26:39 -
🌀
"I'm sorry for yelling at you. I just...there was nothing else I could do."

"...We're both sorry?" She asked. That seemed about right.
2015-10-23 05:31:06 -
🌀
".................yes. I more so." Especially since she'd said she didn't regret her decision at all.
2015-10-23 05:32:46 -

" I think it's mutual, honestly. We were both wrong...." She paused.

"....maybe........." I went quiet again.

"...Do you want to....possibly...talk this out in person? I think it would be better if we did." She shut her eyes, expecting a 'no.' but...she really wanted to see his face right now.
2015-10-23 05:36:58 -
🌀
........really? I mean...did she actually want to see me or....? Was she just humoring me. I wasn't blue anymore. Maybe that would help. "..............could we?"

Well...she didn't expect that. "Please? I mean, Lance is out right now, Clarenz is sleeping, and Kinsey is probably reading something. we could be by ourselves here, unless that's too much for you?Or would you prefer me to come over there?" Did she sound a bit too eager for this? Probably.
2015-10-23 05:41:12 -
🌀
She sounded...genuinely excited to see me. Excited, not resigned. Could she have really forgiven me that quickly? "N-no, Tassek will probably be home soon, and he's not happy with me........I'll.........be over soon?"
2015-10-23 05:43:46 -
●
"O-okay. I'll see you then."

"Goodbye, for now." I hung up and stared at the phone. It almost felt like it might be some trick. That I'd get there and have her laugh in my face. How could you possibly think I still liked you after /that/, idiot? I didn't know you were that desperate! ....no, she wouldn't...would she? I'll............I'll find out. I stood up, grabbed an umbrella from the closet, and went out the door.

She stood up from her position, stretched a bit, quickly cleaned up her paintbrushes, slid her phone into her pocket, shut the light off and shut the door. The cool rain hit her immediately, soaking her in no time as she locked the door and slipped the key into her pocket. Quickly, she moved across the roof and climbed down a ladder that was next to the door leading to the entrance of the apartment. Once she was inside, she slipped off her shoes and let down her hair from the ponytail it was in. No need to make a tail of water throughout the house.

On the way, the wind snapped the umbrella into nigh uselessness, and by the time I got there, I was soaked from head to foot. Lance being gone, the shop was technically closed, and either way I didn't want to drip through the entire building. So I went around to the back and pulled myself up the fire escape to her window, wings and jacket heavy with water. At one point I unzipped the jacket and pulled it over my head. What exactly was I thinking, getting something without a hood? After what seemed like an eternity, I reached and tapped on her window, wondering if lightning would hit me, being a long, thin object on a tall metal structure as I was.

As she walked into her room, she heard a tap on her window. Did he really-She opened it. Yes, he did. "You're soaked..." She commented. Well no shit. She took him by the hand and pulled him into her room.

"Umbrella broke." I stepped over the windowsill and onto her carpet, trying to avoid anything that might be permanently damaged by my dripping, like paper or electronics. Unfortunately, that's what most of her belongings consisted of, so I ended up staying as close to the window as I could and trying not to move for fear of shaking water onto something.

"Here, let me..." She slipped out of the room for a second and returned which a towel before handing it to him. Her hair clung to her with dampness, but at this point not even a towel could cure that with her hair length.
