A shiver went down my spine, but I kept my body from going tense. Only the third time, and it was still....no, it was better this time. But it hasn't stopped....making me............ahh..........
His eyes glazed over and he stared sleepily past her as she drank.

His blood was certainly something different. Well, she might of only fed off of two people, but his was something worth noting. The sweetness. The satisfaction of biting him. It was wonderful. It was better. So much better. She didn't know why, but something about his blood made her want more of it, but also satisfied her more as well. She didn't want to take too much now, so it was time to let go. It almost hurt to pull away, but, she had to. Turning was the last thing on her mind. No, she didn't want him turned. She liked the way he was now. As himself.
Once she finished, she reached over and grabbed some gauze off her desk and pressed it to his bite marks to stop the bleeding.

He had a dazed smile on his face as he leaned back against the wall, head lolling. Sweet...she thought he was sweet, too......

She let out a small chuckle. "Did I hurt you?" She asked.

"...nope....not at all."

"Good." Even better.

"....mmm....so...you done?" He sat up a little and rubbed his face.

"Mhmm." She nodded. "Just waiting for it to stop bleeding." She pulled the gauze away for a moment. Still blood. Back on it goes.

"........alrighty. Hey, I wonder what would happen if two people tried to turn me at once...ohh, let's test that."

"Please don't. I really would prefer you to stay human."

He furrowed his brows a little and shook his head to clear it. "No, that's a terrible....sorry. ...can we test it on someone /else/ then? No, that would be cruel......"

She chuckled. "I hope I didn't take too much from you and that's why you have these ideas."

"[Haha, no, I'm taking all the credit.] ....please do, I don't want to kill anyone....... Yes you do. ...no, I--! [If we're killing someone, it should at least be for a good cause.] We're not--" He clamped his hand over his mouth, looking a little scared.

She put her free hand to the one on his mouth and slowly pulled it away. "It's okay." She wasn't scared. She had nothing to fear.

He kept his mouth tightly shut, anyways. Even if she wasn't scared /now/, she would be.

She squeezed his hand, and pulled the gauze off. "All done." She threw it in the trash.

He nodded a little with a mumbled "Thank you" through gritted teeth.

It had to be done. For Ivory's sake. I went to Cale's apartment to talk to Zane. Cale shrugged and waved me in, seeing no harm in it. Madison gave me a smirk when he looked up from his newspaper. Neither did anything to help my nerves. I knocked lightly on the door to the other room. There was no response, so I carefully pushed it open. He sat on his foldout bed, staring blankly at the wall. As I assumed...he'd been doing for weeks now. Quietly, I went over to sit next to him. He didn't look up. "...........Zane? Please, say...../something/." Nothing. I couldn't even catch much of a thought. It looked like it was up to me to do all the talking. Please let it /just/ be me this time.... "....Ivory.....has really been missing you. Ren and I are the only ones who will still talk to her, and...she /really/ needs you, Zane. I'm sorry that you're hurting, and scared that you killed someone, but....it's not your fault." At some point during this speech, I'd started rubbing his back softly. "You weren't yourself, so it wasn't you who did that. ..I've been there. I've definitely....... Oh, when did this spiel become about /you/? Selfish. N-no, I, I'm just using myself as an example, I..... Look, Zane. I'll tell you what's /really/ going on. She blames herself a /little/ for you not talking to her, but mostly she thinks you're being a giant ass. No she doesn't, it's just that she thinks maybe you should've told her face-to-face if you were breaking something off, or didn't want to see her again.... But no, you couldn't go tell her, could you? You're just too scared to say /anything/. No you're not! I know you don't want to talk about it, but clamming up isn't the answer, I learned that the hard way too. If she hurt you beyond repair, you have to talk to her, so neither of you are left in the dark about what's going on. Right, you /have/ to, but it looks like you're both just going to wallow in misery until you dissolve instead. No, Zane, you can be brave and talk to her, I know you.........can..............." He'd finally looked at me, and there was finally something in his expression, but it was confusion and hurt, not comfort. Oh, God. He hates me now, doesn't he? I just made everything worse. "I'm so sorry, Zane. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean that, about her thinking you're horrible, I didn't say that, pretend I didn't say it, I never should've tried to help, I'll just....................I'll just shut up now......................" I was crying. See? This is what happens when you're nosy like that. And he might've actually /liked/ you before now, too. Should I tell him about you claiming his girlfriend next? It's not like it could make your screwup any worse. Too bad you ruined any relationship he may have possibly regained with Ivory in the process.
Suddenly he reached over and hugged me. He still didn't speak, but I could still hear that he'd forgiven me, and whatever sort of grudge he'd held against Ivory he'd forgiven as well. He planned to go talk to her once the sun went down. Not right now, though. That would be obvious suicide. But later. Later for sure. He didn't blame me. He would talk to Ivory. And that was all I cared about.

Once Seculus left, Lance came back with two bottles of pills, and handed them to Ivory. Well, one situation was out of the way, and that made her feel a little bit better. The next one? Well, why not take Seculus's advice. Why not give him a chance? She found him in the kitchen, making himself a sandwich.
"...Hey." She quietly spoke before she moved over and sat down on the counter.
He looked at her with surprised eyes. She was /actually/ talking to him? "...Hello."
"I'm, not here to yell at you...just that Seculus said I should talk to you."
"....Did he now?"
"Mhmm."
"...I'm sorry I assumed wrong things about him."
"It's okay."
"....You've been hanging out with him a lot lately. Is he..okay?"
"Yeah he's....he's something."
"He makes you happy, doesn't he?"
"Yeah, something like that."
He smiled. "....I just think...he needs professional help...possibly you too."
Her face fell. "What do you mean?"
"He's not right, Ivory, and neither are you."
She got off the counter. "We're both fine, thank you."
"Ivory...you almost killed a lot of people, including him. I /know/ that affects you, and he hasn't been exactly stable either. Maybe you two should admit yourself to psy-"
"DON'T SAY IT!" She snapped, and took a step towards him. "DON'T YOU FUCKING SAY IT! IF LANCE WAS HERE HE WOULD OF SLAPPED YOU ACROSS THE FACE FOR SAYING THAT!" She took another step forward. "JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE MY ANGEL DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT! IT'S YOUR FAULT I GOT PUT IN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I WON'T LET YOU DO THAT TO SECULUS! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR!"
Well there went that chance. /Fuck him./ Clarenz just left the room quietly. Ivory, of course, didn't spend any more of the night sober.
Early the next morning, Clarenz exited his room. Everyone had gone to bed. It was just him awake. He never wanted Ivory to hate him. He never wanted to hurt her /that/ bad. Things would be better if he never existed.
He quietly sneaked into her room and took her medication bottles before downing them all. The high from the xanax hit him first, and he stumbled down the hall.
What he didn't know was Ivory was passed out on the kitchen floor with a bottle of Skyy vodka mixed with peppermints in her hand. She heard something hit the ground, and immediately jerked awake. She slowly stood up, put the bottle on the counter, and moved towards the sound. There she found Clarenz on the floor, trying to get up. She moved over to him, and saw the empty pill bottles in her hand.
"/You gotta be fucking kidding me./" She spoke to herself before pulling him to his feet.
She hastily led him over to the sink. "Throw them up."
He shook his head.
She held his head over the sink. "THROW THEM UP!"
He did as he was told, and made himself vomit.
After many vomiting attempts and shouts to keep going. All the undigested pills were now in the sink. The two of them were a trembling mess. Clarenz from over exertion, and Ivory from her anxiety. Well, looks like she had to wait even longer to fix that. Seculus wasn't going to be happy.
Then he stared at her blankly. Oh. So /this/ is how he died. Overdose?
Caspian was home alone. The sound of the city were heard outside his apartment window. His mother was working late, and had completely forgotten his birthday was today.
Well...everyone forgot it was his nineteenth birthday today.
He laid down on the ground, sobbing.
Why couldn't be loved. Why couldn't he be normal.
None of this was worth it.
He took his anti-depressants.
And downed them.
The last thing he remembered hearing before everything fade to black his mother walking into his room and screaming.

Seculus had calmed down and gone home. Zane was still immensely confused what that small conversation that took place in the midst of that attempt at comfort was about, or why one of the people involved seemed to hate both of them so much, but he decided to listen to the actual Seculus and figure out the other one later. Cale and Madison both looked shocked when he finally came out, took a shower, and left the apartment, neither stopping him. He made it to the shop door before freezing in his tracks. Seculus could've been wrong. Ivory might still want to kill him. ....would she really?

Lance and Clarenz were the only ones in the shop at the moment, arguing about something, then he looked up and saw Zane. Without hesitating, Lance made his way to the door and pulled Zane inside. "She's in her room. Gogogo!" He spoke as he shoved Zane up the steps and went back to Clarenz's converstion, which was mostly a yelling fit about how bad it was to take other people's meds especially when said person has been off her meds for month now.
Ivory hadn't noticed anything since this mornings incident. She merely just slept, and was now in a skype call with Nick. Who spammed her cell phone until she got on skype. "Nick, I swear to God. I know I'm an idiot. Are you going to help me or not?"

Wha--he stumbled and almost tumbled head over heels up/down the stairs from sheer surprise. Is...Lance /okay/?? He caught himself on the banister and finished the climb, a little more slowly. Then he resumed his pointless standing position, except outside her door this time. She was talking to someone. She sounded angry. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. But....Lance wouldn't have forcefully shoved him up here if it would end in his death. Right? Right, Lance? He shakily lifted a fist and knocked.

There was a bit of silence. "Hold on Nick, Come in." She spoke up.

He tried not to crush the doorknob out of nerves as he turned it and pushed the door open, not moving inside yet.

Her gaze met Zane's. Oh...uh. She turned to the skype call. "Nick, I'll call you back." She immediately withdrew the earbuds from her ear and shut the laptop.
