Getting settled into New York wasn't easy, but I managed. I found myself a decent apartment just next to Times Square, and it was just short walk from my job. It took a couple weeks, but now I'm finally stable. New York wasn't really into public indecency, so clothes were the the first thing on my list. Nothing too fancy, just jeans and a t-shirt. If I want something special I'll just buy it online or something.

For now though, I needed to surprise someone, I slipped into the hardware store. Louhkie was working right now, from what Terezi knew. Before he could even see me, I slipped into one of the isles. Lets play a game of hide and seek, shall we?

Ugh. This. Job. Sucks. Ass. I was tossing darts idly, as was pretty much the only thing to do around here besides actually help customers, and psshh, seriously, why would I do that? There's not even anyone to help if I wanted to. I paused with a dart in my hand when I sensed a devil. Huh? I straightened up and lifted my head off my arm to look around. "Hey? Looking for something?"
