She felt the frost embed into her skin, and pressed harder. No. She wasn't letting go this easy. Even if it killed her.

A flash of peppermint fumed the air wildly, and a mirror shard was pressed to Calypso's neck. "Let him go, /now./" Ivory commanded, words filled with venom and eyes filled with rage as she knelled behind Claypso.

"Now back up." Ivory started to stand.

"I don't think you-"

She pushed the blade closer Calypso's skin. "There are over twenty major arteries in the human body, but I only need to slice /one/ open to kill you. Now /back up./"

A layer of ice began to crackle into existence on the ground underneath me. Am I going to faint? Please don't. I don't even know if that's possible, given I'm already asleep. I coughed and wheezed, raising a trembling hand to my throat to touch the bruises. Hadn't she said murder was never the answer? She probably wouldn't go through with it. But it was nice to know she would imply it for me.

Once Calypso was far enough away, Ivory immediately went to Seculus's side, sitting him up and pulling him into her arms. In one hand, the mirror shard was clutched tightly, in case Calypso made any sudden moves. "Just focus on my voice, okay?" Ivory spoke calmly to him. "It's alright. I'm here now. Sorry that I was a bit late, but I am here."

As I gasped to refill my lungs, she pulled me close. Seeing two people in one go wasn't that common. Either I was very lucky, which I doubted, or she'd been extremely determined. You know, I'm strangely calm about all this. Normally I'd be sobbing, possibly having a panic attack. Maybe because I'm just resigned to the concept of death at this point? It's the only thing that doesn't scare me anymore. "......a-ah.......late...?...no, I doh....don't mind....."

Ivory looked at Calypso for a second. "No, but I'm going to cheat death and end you if you don't shut up for ten seconds."

That made me choke again. It'd been a while since I'd seen Calypso...I forgot how biting she can be. She was a survivor, I doubted Ivory could actually 'end her', even if she tried. The ice continued to spread through no will of my own around us, creeping up her shoes. "........don't, I'm just happy you're here."

Calypso too a few more steps back, staring down at the ice. Oh hell no. Winter was just over. She wasn't going back to it. Especially with Snow White practically begging 'oh kiss me, kiss me.'

Ivory wasn't going to kill anyone. They both knew that, but Claypso didn't. Ivory looked back to Seculus. "And I'm glad I got here. I don't think you would want to deal with her alone. Especially now."

"Well, I'm not sure if it's worse or better, her having less weapons and more temper...but I've gotten along okay before." The layer nearest Calypso thickened a bit, as something started growing out of it.

For once I agree with you, but no one thought she had an angel except for her and Lance, and Lance had already met him face-to-face. "If Tassek sees them then he'll just assume something else. Besides, there's not much point in showing them off." The spikes began to curl around her, still just as sharp, but no longer aiming to stab her.
