Ren frowned. The knock came again, but in a very deliberate five-step rhythm this time and their eyes widened as they leapt to their feet. "Well, it's not!" They threw open the door and a young man with sandy hair, amber-gold eyes, and a white cold mask over his lower face picked them up in a hug. They were at least three inches taller, and wore a brown aviator duster and a vertically striped tie. "Eyyy, Renald!" "Mmmph!"

He put Ren down and mussed their hair, glancing over and noticing Ivory. "Hey, li'l guy, who's the daughter of the abyss? Did you get a girlfriend?" "Nooo, Ivory, and no she's not Satan." He pulled them by the collar over to her, then let go, and bent at the waist to kiss her hand. He wasn't a twiggy sort of tall like Seculus, but more like slender. "Phantez at your service, madam."
