"If it will get you to leave him alone, sure. It's my fault. Who cares? Not like it's going to fix anything."

He couldn't even seem to argue with this for once. What a relief. I said as softly as I could with it being a mumble, "...dear, do you think I could....have some Tylenol....?"

She looked back to Seculus. "Of course." She gave him a smile smile moving to grab it.

He moved between it and her. "Wait wait wait. You don't find that creepy at /all/? You've got to be kidding me! I knew you were cheating on Zane!"

She sighed. "Tassek. If it really bothers you that much, then here." She pulled out her phone and shoved it into his hand. "Zane's number is in there. You think he really gives a fuck? Find out yourself."

He glared at her and immediately proceeded to text Zane. 'This is Tassek. Your girlfriend's fucking around with Seculus.' The response came quickly. 'Oh, Seculus? How is he doing recently? Tell him I said hello.' He looked like he was going to scream and throw the phone against the wall, but instead he set it down with every muscle in his body tense and stomped out of the room, fists clenched.

His reaction was all she needed. She grabbed the bottle of Tylenol, got him a glass of water, an apple, and returned. "Headache." She handed him the pills and water. "Nutrients." Then the apple. She grabbed her phone and read the text. "Zane says hi, by the way."
2015-09-13 22:42:15 -

"Hello, Zane, and thank you," I mumbled, downed the pills, and started on the apple.

She tapped out a response. 'Sorry about that, Tassek was being an assuming prick. Seculus is a bit hung over, but I'm helping him out. He says hey <3' She then placed her phone down. Next, she sat down in a chair next to him.

I finished the apple and began twisting the stem absently as my head cleared up a little. "...so, um...about last night...we...never really got to talk about it."

"Like I said, people do silly things when they're drunk."
2015-09-13 22:50:55 -
🌀
"...so you're really okay?"
2015-09-13 22:51:29 -
●
"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?"
2015-09-13 22:51:53 -
🌀
"Because, every time I do something like that, it makes everyone involved angry..."
2015-09-13 22:52:48 -
●
"Well I'm pretty sure we've made it clear I'm not like everyone else."
2015-09-13 22:53:38 -
🌀
"...that's true." I smiled slightly at her and the stem came off. But the problem was...I'd been more aware of what I was doing at that point. I couldn't dismiss it simply as an action filtered through alcohol.

She smiled back at him. "However, the next time you decide to drink, please talk to me /before/ you do it? Even if you think I hate you."
2015-09-13 22:58:03 -
🌀
"Well, I didn't exactly intend on there being an aftermath, but...alright."
2015-09-13 23:00:12 -
●
"Which is exactly why I want you to talk to me about it before you do it again."
2015-09-13 23:01:22 -
🌀
"It was also sort of a spur-of-the-moment decision. I didn't want to bother you, either. Since I upset you so much..."
2015-09-13 23:03:22 -
●
"Seculus." She reached out and took his hand. "You've never been a bother to me. Ever. I know sometimes it's hard to realize that, especially if I'm bothered by some things, but that doesn't mean I don't want to help. I'm willing to work through something instead of to just throw a 'fuck you' and be done with it. It's how anything of great value is accomplished. "

Tears came to my eyes and I wiped them away with my other hand, sniffling a little. They weren't so much sad tears, though. I wasn't a bother to her? And she wouldn't avoid me if I messed up like that again? That was a comfort.

She smiled softly, and proceeded to lean over and hug him. Things were going to be okay. Everything is going to work out.

Ivory knocked on the door to Ren's apartment. Yes, she finally was able to go outside on her own, and move within five feet of Terezi's apartment without being murdered on sight. Did Ren know about that? Probably not. Either way, the two of them would still hang out regardless. This was like her second home.

They opened the door with a smile. For once they didn't look like they'd just woken up, and they pulled her inside, hugging her. "Hey! Whatcha doing here?"
