"...Yeah. I guess you're right."

"It isn't a guess. Stop sounding so resigned. You have the bond with him, you should know better than anyone how he feels."

"You're right, I do, but....it's just...there are parts of me I wish he didn't know, you know? And I think it's the same for him too."

"Well, no one wants anyone to know absolutely everything about them. Because aside from absolute perfection, which doesn't exist, there are ugly parts they'd rather keep to themselves. Especially if you've lived as long as he has or as hard a life as you have. Fortunately, you two know what to do with that information, and that's help each other."

"...Would you ever let /me/ help /you/ though?" She asked, looking him in the eye. "Even if you knew what I was?"

"..............." I looked away. I wanted her to be happy. But I couldn't. Not the way I and everything else was.

●
".....Exactly." She gave his hand a gentle squeeze.
2015-09-13 10:46:33 -

"....but...there's no helping me. You still have so many people to live for."
2015-09-13 10:48:10 -

"And you have me. You said so yourself."

"....well, yes, but....." I wasn't cold anymore. If anything, only slightly damp from the melted ice. She began to go fuzzy and I sighed. Time for a hangover. I hadn't originally considered the consequences of drinking that much alcohol and staying alive. Now to face that frustrating fact of human existence.

She went fuzzy, and so did he. Looks like they were both waking up now. Oh well. Looks like it was time for her to nurse a hangover. She didn't mind but...she really wished she could do more for him.

Ughhhhh....it looks like I've traded off cold for nausea. Not to mention this headache... God, I had to be a bother. Oh. I'm still on her lap. I removed my arm from her and pushed myself up slowly, head spinning. The room sort of turned upside down. I don't think that's supposed to happen.

Ivory awoke, and her eyes immediately went to Seculus. She immediately moved to his side. "Woah, there." She moved his arm over her shoulder, and did the same thing with hers. "Just slow down and take it easy before you hurt yourself."

I mumbled something incomprehensible and put my hand over my eyes, but stopped moving. Too bright. What did Terezi do before, she...right, she gave us water, pills, and told us to go sleep.

She moved him out of his room and towards the dinning table. "Here, just sit down and take it easy, okay?" She sat him down on one of the chairs.

I slumped down in the chair and squeezed my eyes shut, but groaned when I heard an extra set of thoughts. Tassek had entered the room. "What were you doing for the last three hours, there's no way you could've been sleeping with the light -- fuck, what are /you/ doing here."
2015-09-13 22:06:30 -

Her gaze turned to Tassek, and her expression went cold. "One more word and I'll rip out your vocal cords. Now shut up."

I cracked my eyes open a little to see how this ended up going down. He gave her a glare of death and opened his mouth, but he seemed to understand both that she was very capable of coming through on her threat and that she was in the mood to do it, too. So instead he closed his mouth and jabbed a finger at the bottles in the living room pointedly.

She looked to the living room, and raised her eyebrows. "Yeah, so?"

He furrowed his brows and pointed at me.

"Yes. Who else? Because I'm obviously sober."
2015-09-13 22:14:29 -

"Why?!" Look at that, he couldn't even stay silent for all of ten seconds.

"Why do you want to know so bad?"

"Because if he went out and bought liquor for the sole sake of getting drunk, it was on my dime, and since you were already here and he can't operate a phone even when he's sober, I'm guessing it was your fault."
