"Oh...I guess that makes sense." He sat down against the pleasantly dry wall and reached down the squeeze out the hems of his pants, which were damp from dragging in the snow.

She sat down across from him, sitting close enough to look him in the eye if need be. To make sure she didn't damage her phone from the snow, she stuck it in her jacket pocket, and crossed her legs.

He couldn't remember the last time he'd been really alone with a girl. Well, without the threat of Cale walking in at any second, anyways. And one who wasn't Bird. There was only one other girl who he was actively nervous to be alone with, too. Fortunately for him, he'd never had to be. Hard to be alone when he only saw her in class. There had never been a case where they were the only ones attending /and/ Rati and Cale were out of the room.

"One!" A punch from a small, olive-skinned hand landed on Zane's palm, and the light thud was joined by several others in the room. "Two!" Short black bangs flew back from hazel eyes at the movement. "Three!" A bow-shaped mouth pursed in concentration. "Break!" Everyone immediately relaxed, and Kenna smiled at him, wiping her arm across her face. He felt his heart skip a beat, and he wasn't quite sure why. "Want me to get us some water?" "Um, yes, please," he responded quietly. He watched her as she walked over to the cooler and bent down to get a couple of water bottles. The thought of her coming back and talking to him again made him sick. Was he dehydrated? Someone said something to her as she stood up and she laughed. It sent a shiver down his spine. He didn't understand. She returned to him and held out the drink, and when he took it, their hands brushed. Immediately, he turned red, but tried to shake it off, and she giggled before opening hers and pouring a little on her head. He chuckled as well and did the same, mistakenly dumping the entire thing over his head. She burst out laughing as he stood there dripping from his shaggy hair and shivering slightly, completely embarrassed. But when he realized that she didn't think he was stupid, only funny, he began laughing with her before she got him a towel.

Ivory stared blankly at Zane for a moment before blinking. Well then. She looked away and cleared her throat. "So I uh...I saw something." She spoke up, unsure if Zane wanted to talk about it or not.
