Well, wasn't this odd. The second I fell asleep on Zane's apartment floor -- even if he was trying to help, Cale wouldn't allow me to have the couch -- I woke up here, in the place where we'd first started this whole mess. Was that hole still there, I wondered? Undoubtedly, but this was so large a place, it couldn't possibly be in close proximity. I stood up and stretched, looking around. I was still trying to get used to the loss of my wings, as if I'd used them much anyways.
